If you can believe it, this weekend will be the last without MLB betting on the table! That’s right folks, the “Boys of Summer” will finally take to the field for a 60-game schedule starting July 23 when the New York Yankees/Washington Nationals and San Francisco Giants/Los Angeles Dodgers get the abbreviated season up and running. How long the season goes remains to be seen, but at least one of the four majors will finally be back and up and running. The NBA and NHL are expected to follow soon after provided the coronavirus doesn’t wreak havoc in the Orlando bubble or the two hub cities north of the border. Until then, there are other sports to dig into and wager upon, so let’s roll up our sleeves and peruse what will be on the betting board over the July 18-19 weekend.

A tidy 3-pack of English Premiere League betting action is set to go over the weekend with Norwich City and Burnley FC (+117, 2) getting the showcase treatment on Saturday. AFC Bournemouth/Southampton FC (+177, 2.5) and Tottenham Hotspur/Leicester City (+197, 2.5) will entertain EPL betting fans on Sunday. Saturday’s card in Serie A offers up three fixtures to bet into that serve as the appetizer for a loaded Sunday card that offers up a 6-pack of games for your wagering pleasure. Not to be outdone, La Liga betting action comes with a fury on Sunday with a whopping 10 games to bet into with Real Valladolid and Real Betis Balompie (+163, 2.5) kicking it all off at 12:30 p.m. ET.

Though Chase Elliott just took home the checkered flag in Wednesday’s NASCAR All-Star Race, he isn’t favored to win the O'Reilly Auto Parts 500 this upcoming Saturday. That distinction goes to Kevin Harvick +300 who just so happens to be the current front runner to take home the 2020 NASCAR Cup Series Championship. Denny Hamlin +600, Kyle Busch +650, Chase Elliott +800, Martin Truex Jr. +1000, Ryan Blaney +1100, Joey Logano +1100 and Brad Keselowski +1200 round out the field. Tune to NBCSN at 3 p.m. ET to see if Harvick can win for the second time in the month of July.

Hopefully The Basketball Tournament got your juices flowing for what’s about to go down at the end of the month! Betting lines for the NBA’s reboot season are already on the board with the Clippers/Lakers (+1, 217.5) the headliner of the initial double dip tentatively scheduled for July 30. Also readily available to wager upon are futures odds for the winner of the NBA Championship, Western Conference and Eastern Conference. The Lakers are the current +226 favorites to win it all followed by the Clippers +292, Bucks +305, Rockets +1000, Celtics +1250, 76ers +1500 and Raptors +2000.

The KBO will be back in action through the weekend as it closes out the current series that started on Friday. The NC Dinos currently hold 5-game leads over both the Doosan Bears and Kiwoom Heroes, and will turn its attention to a KT Wiz squad that’s currently hovering around .500. Its lead atop the standings has shrunk since last week, so a concerted effort to take advantage of its lesser opposition will likely be utilized. Even though the gap has shortened, NC is still +210 favs to win the KBO title followed by Kiwoom +360 and Doosan/LG +650. Japanese Nippon Professional Baseball League action is also set to go down this weekend with Saturday’s eight-game schedule to play out before Sunday’s four-game slate.

Odds to win the MLB World Series and both the AL and NL are currently available to wager on the MLB future odds as are betting lines for the two aforementioned games as well as Friday’s matchup between the AL West rival Mariners and Astros which finds Houston installed enormous -290 Minute Maid Park favorites.

Sick of betting on the UFC yet? Didn’t think so! Another leaded card is set to play out in Fight Night 173 for MMA bettors on Saturday night from the Flash Forum on Fight Island in Yas Island, Abu Dhabi. A total of 22 fighters will take to the octagon on Saturday night with the main event pitting 18-1 Deiveson Figueiredo (-224, 4.5) up against 28-6 Joseph Benavidez in the rematch for the Flyweight title. You can bet your bottom dollar he makes weight this time around after not doing so in the first meeting and being unable to take home the belt because of it even though he earned the TKO triumph in the second round. No other titles will be on the line for the remainder of the card, but it’ll be must see TV nonetheless - It’s Tiiiiiiime!
