Fans and sports bettors are now a week closer to the NBA, NHL and MLB rebooting or starting up their respective seasons. The quarterfinals of The Basketball Tournament is set to go down this weekend with a pair of games locked in for both Saturday and Sunday. Tipping the weekend’s action off from Nationwide Arena at 2 p.m. ET will be the #4 Golden Eagles and #12 Team Brotherly Love (+3, 153.5) followed by #16 House of ‘Paign running up against #8 Red Scare (+2, 152.5). Sunday’s slate finds #2 Overseas Elite matching wits with #23 Herd That and #3 Boeheims Army squaring off against #22 Sideline Cancer. Overseas Elite is the current +155 chalk to win the tourney and with it the $1M winner-take-all prize. Every game can be seen live on ESPN.


The KBO will have a total of 10 games going over the weekend with five going each day. The NC Dinos will take an 8.5-game lead over the LG Twins into the team’s respective weekend set, while the Kiwoom Heroes will attempt to put a little more breathing room between themselves and the KIA Tigers. Kiwoom has closed the gap on the Dinos (+210) and are now +360 pups to win the KBO title. Japanese Nippon Professional Baseball League action is also set to go down this weekend with Saturday’s seven-game schedule to play out before Sunday’s five-game slate.
