A World Series rematch on ESPN between the Philadelphia Phillies and Houston Astros highlights MLB action on Sunday, April 30. That is the only night game on Sunday, as all of the other action is in the day. The games get started early with the Cubs at the Marlins on Peacock. MLB Network has the Giants at the Padres in the afternoon and ESPN+ has the Cardinals at the Dodgers. The Milwaukee bullpen imploded last week in the 8th inning against the Red Sox costing us our three-team parlay. We’ll focus again on three main picks for our MLB sides parlay and two picks for an MLB totals parlay. Let’s look at Sunday, April 30th MLB Parlay picks.

Sunday MLB Parlay Picks
Chicago Cubs
The pitching matchup on Sunday should have Justin Steele going for the Cubs, while the Marlins send Bryan Hoeing. Steele is 4-0 with a 1.19 ERA this season. Not only has Steele looked great this season, but he has faced some tough lineups in beating the Brewers, Dodgers, Rangers and Padres. I don’t know what the Marlins see in Hoeing, but they are supposed to be sending him out for another start on Sunday. He went 3.2 innings in his first start and allowed six hits and four runs against the Braves. I’ll take the Cubs as the first team in the parlay.
Cleveland Indians
The Indians are expected to send Logan Allen to the mound on Sunday, while the Red Sox go with Chris Sale. It was an excellent debut for Allen, as he went six innings and gave up just five hits and one run against the Marlins. I don’t know what to think of Sale for Boston. The Red Sox are still counting on him to be an ace and I just haven’t seen it. He is 1-2 with an ERA of more than eight. He has only really had one good start and in that game against the Twins he only went six innings. I see no reason to think he is going to shut down the Indians. I’ll take Cleveland as the second team in the parlay.
Minnesota Twins
The Twins will be heavily favored at home on Sunday against the Royals and why not? The Royals are awful and the Twins are a good team. The pitching matchup heavily favors Minnesota on Sunday, as they have their ace, Joe Ryan going against Brady Singer. Ryan is 5-0 with a 2.81 ERA this season, while Singer is 2-2 with an ERA of 6.67. I’ll take the Twins as the last team in the parlay.
MLB Totals Parlay
Reds-A’s Over
The probable pitching matchup on Sunday should have Nick Lodolo going for Cincinnati, while Oakland sends Mason Miller. Not much has gone right of late for Lodolo who has an ERA of more than six. He has not made it out of the fifth in either of his last two starts. Miller has been awful for the A’s with an 0-1 record and a 6.48 ERA. I’ll go over the total with the Reds and A’s on Sunday.
Phillies-Astros Over
The ESPN game has the Phillies expected to send Bailey Falter to the mound, while the Astros send Jose Urquidy. Falter is 0-4 with a 4.50 ERA. He has given up a total of 12 runs in his last three starts and doesn’t figure to have much success against the Houston lineup. Urquidy is 1-2 with a 5.64 ERA. He has given up a combined total of 10 runs in his last two starts. I’ll go over with the Phillies and Astros.
