The UFC is putting two titles on the line on May 13, with heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic and strawweight queen Joanna Jedrzejczyk slated for intriguing defenses against dangerous opponents. In other words, we’ve got the Miocic, who has been starching dudes, and J-Check, who has been shredding chicks, fighting on the same night.
Need more convincing? Former heavyweight champion Fabricio Werdum is back in action, squaring off against the gritty Ben Rothwell. The rest of the card is still being filled out, but these three fights alone are worth your pay-per-view dollars.
Let’s take a look at your UFC odds at BookMaker.eu, and get into why each fight rocks.
Two bombers with knockout power slinging leather at each other - ‘nuff said. Miocic is a former Golden Gloves champ, while JDS has long been considered the best boxer in the weight class. So if you’re one of those one-dimensional fight fans that just wanna see guys bang, then this is like the holy grail.
Someone’s chin is getting cracked wide open in this matchup. These guys are just too good technically not to connect over the course of five rounds. But considering how tough these guys are, there’s a good chance this turns into an all-out war of attrition. Sign me up for that and then some.

Strawweight Championship - Joanna Jedrzejczyk (-160) vs. Jessica Andrade (+130) - Total - U 3.5 +155
Joanna Champion has yet to be really challenged yet during her title reign. Chalk that up to her ultra-violent, picture-perfect Muay Thai skills and an endless gas tank. But that all ends against Jessica Andrade, who is going to give her the toughest test of her undefeated career.
If Andrade isn’t throwing lethal hooks, she’s straight up suplexing girls. The girl gets in your face and jacks you up. We’ve seen J-Check in some wars before, but never against anybody who hits as hard as Andrade. But that goes the other way around too - the Brazilian has never faced a striker as clean and technical as Joanna.
Heavyweights: Fabricio Werdum vs. Ben Rothwell - This Fight has been canceled.
After putting together one of the most impressive winning streaks in heavyweight history, Werdum was laid out cold by Miocic with a single punch. The question is whether that was a flash knockout or a sign that the aging Brazilian’s time at the top is coming to an end. He bounced back with a win over Travis Browne - but what top heavyweight isn’t beating Hapa these days?
Rothwell is the division’s “grit-fighter.” He’s the guy with a solid set of skills and extraordinary toughness you bring in to test a fighter’s championship mettle. While Big Ben will likely never get a title shot, he’s been good enough to hang around the top 10 for years. And if Werdum beats him, he could lock up another shot at the title.
