The 2nd stage of the Tour de France leads in 166 kilometers from Utrecht to the artificial island of Neeltje Jans in Zeeland.
Tour de France 2015 Stage 2 preview: Utrecht - Zélande, 166 km
At 166K, the first road stage of the Tour is a flat run from Utrecht to the North Sea coast in the province of Zeeland, with the last 50K of the stage along the sea.
The finish line is on Neeltje Jans, a couple of square kilometres of reclaimed land halfway along the Eastern Scheldt storm surge barrier. The road rises and falls between zero and six metres above sea level, finishing right by the sea at Zélande.
