The Philadelphia Eagles have dominated their recent NFC East rivalry with the New York Giants in taking each of the last three as well as seven of the last eight overall skirmishes. The defending champs swept the rivalry a season ago, and will look to take one step closer towards pulling the feat a second straight season when they open up Week 6 NFL betting under the lights of Thursday Night Football at MetLife Stadium. The game will air live on FOX and the NFL Network, so be on the lookout for a whole bevy of betting odds, both pre-game and live, as well as propositions.
Thirteen games will kick off over the course of Sunday’s Week 6 schedule highlighted by the first London game of the season when the Seattle Seahawks and Oakland Raiders get it on from Tottenham Stadium. This one kicks off normally, so you won’t have to wake up with the birds to take it in live.
Other notable early games to wager upon on the Week 6 NFL betting lines include the Steelers and Bengals getting it on in Cincinnati, the Cardinals and Vikings squaring off in Minnesota, and the Panthers and Redskins locking horns in D.C.
The afternoon slate only goes three deep, but each game is sure to deliver. We’ll start off in Denver where Jared Goff and the Rams offense will attempt to pick apart the Broncos defense. Then we’ll go to Big D where Ezekiel Elliott and the Cowboys offense will look to run the ball down the throat of a Jacksonville defense that was much more susceptible to the rush last season. We’ll close it out in Tennessee where a pair of possible Wild Card entrants will collide in the Baltimore Ravens and Tennessee Titans.
If you don’t have the time or patience to do your research for Sunday’s huge card, make it a point to head over to Gamblers Palace before the games kick off to gauge the line movement and take in as many of the game matchups with free picks as your heart desires. The GP writing staff kicked some major butt on the pro gridiron last season!
Potential playoff matchups are abound in both the Sunday Night Football and Monday Night football matchups with the Kansas City Chiefs returning to Gillette Stadium to battle the New England Patriots, and the San Francisco 49ers making their first prime time appearance of the season in Green Bay against the Packers. Does it get much better than Jimmy G squaring off against Aaron Rodgers under the Monday Night lights?
Philadelphia Eagles at New York Giants, MetLife Stadium – 8:20 p.m. ET ( FOX )
Opening Line: Philadelphia -3, 45
Preview: No team in the NFC East has seized control. That makes this Thursday Night Football clash against the live betting spread all the more important for both the Philadelphia Eagles and New York Giants. The former has looked terrible all season long, but has the injury bug to blame. That’s not the case for the latter who can’t seem to get out of their own way, and now they run up against a hated divisional opponent that’s dominated the recent rivalry sweeping last year’s meetings to move to 8-2 SU and 6-4 ATS in the last 10. Continue...
Los Angeles Rams at Denver Broncos, Sports Authority Field at Mile High Stadium – 4:05 p.m. ET
Opening Line: Los Angeles -7, 53
Preview: The Los Angeles Rams are the toast of the NFC. Sean McVay just might be the best coach in the conference as well evidenced by his late game decision to win the game on the live betting lines at Seattle instead of punting and hoping Russell Wilson didn’t put the Seahawks in a position to win the game. The same can’t and won’t be said of Denver Broncos coach Vance Joseph, ever! The visitors hold a huge coaching advantage in this matchup, but will they have enough in the tank off a huge divisional battle against a win hungry opponent? Continue...
Jacksonville Jaguars at Dallas Cowboys, ATT Stadium – 4:25 p.m. ET
Opening Line: Jaguars -3; Over/Under 40
Preview: The Jaguars have an elite defense and are going up against a Cowboys offense that has struggled this season. Dallas does have a shot because its strength is the running game, something Jacksonville sometimes has trouble stopping. Continue...
San Francisco 49ers at Green Bay Packers, Lambeau Field – 8:15 p.m. ET ( ESPN )
Opening Line: Green Bay -9, 46.5
Preview: When this tilt was first scheduled for Monday Night Football props betting, it was expected that a fully healthy Jimmy G would be squaring off against a 100 percent Aaron Rodgers. Unfortunately, that won’t be the case when the San Francisco 49ers and Green Bay Packers get it on to close out the Week 6 NFL slate. In fact it couldn’t be further from the truth. Even so, both teams will take the field and there will be a bevy of proposition wagers made available at BookMaker.eu. Continue...
