The bye weeks are over, thankfully! Only five weeks remain in the regular season as all 32 teams gear up to go to battle in Week 13. With that, it’s time for teams in the playoff hunt to put their best foot forward and get what’s theirs. For others, players will be out to impress so as to land another gig next season. Either way, we’re now entering the home stretch of the 2018-19 season.

A week removed from battling the Redskins Thanksgiving Day, the Cowboys will once again find themselves under the national spotlight. This time, it will occur under the Thursday Night Football lights against the Super Bowl hungry New Orleans Saints. After playing one another every year from 2012-2015, the rivalry took a two season hiatus. Thankfully it’s been renewed, and we’ll all get rewarded with a showdown of ground attacks between Ezekiel Elliott and Alvin Kamara!
Sunday’s Week 13 morning slate is no joke! It kicks off with the Ravens and Falcons in Atlanta, and is anchored by the showdown in the Steel City between the Chargers and Steelers. Four games are set to go in the afternoon with the Chiefs visit to Oakland the main course, and the Colts/Jaguars, Browns/Texans and Jets/Titans serving as the appetizers. The Raiders and KC split their pair of meetings a season ago, but before that, the Chiefs came out triumphant in seven of the previous eight confrontations. If “Chucky” is worth the amount of money Mark Davis threw at him to get his butt out of the broadcast booth, Gruden will find a way to get his team way up for this one!
If you’re already sick of watching the San Francisco 49ers in prime time games to this point of the NFL betting season, I’ve got some bad news for you. Jimmy G and the Niners will play under the Sunday Night Football lights once again in Week 13 when they travel to Seattle for an NFC West showdown with the Seahawks. This will be the rivals first of two meetings over the next three weeks. Seattle has dominated its division rival to the tune of winning each of the last nine matchups ( 7-2 ATS )!
The week will conclude in the City of Brotherly Love where Jay Gruden – if he’s still head coach – will attempt to lead his team to a win over the Eagles who swept both tilts last season. It goes without saying that this Monday Night Football tilt will be a big one for Gruden who went 5-1 versus Philly his first three seasons in D.C. The Redskins have covered three of their last four visits to the Linc with each contest playing to high scorers.
New Orleans Saints at Dallas Cowboys, ATT Stadium – 8:20 p.m. ET ( FOX )
Opening Line: New Orleans -7.5, 54.5
Preview: A pair of streakers are set to kick off Week 13 festivities at top rated sportsbooks on Thursday Night Football when the smoking hot New Orleans Saints invade Big D to run with the resurgent Dallas Cowboys. Each club comes off big home wins and covers on Thanksgiving and looks to be geared for a strong stretch run. The Saints have covered all three of their road tilts installed as favorites to date, but linemakers are making NFL bettors pay a premium to get a piece of them in this spot. Continue...
Indianapolis Colts at Jacksonville Jaguars, TIAA Bank Stadium – 1 p.m. ET
Opening Line: Colts -4.5, O/U 47.5
Preview: Call it ‘The Good Place’ curse. Ever since the Jacksonville Jaguars were officially declared good by the judge on the popular television show, the Jaguars have stunk. They have lost seven games in a row, and that has moved them from the realm of AFC contenders to also-rans. Jacksonville is now thinking of the offseason rather than the postseason at 3-8, and things could get even worse this week. The surging Indianapolis Colts are coming to town and looking to strengthen their record for a playoff berth. Continue...
Minnesota Vikings at New England Patriots, Gillette Stadium – 4:25 p.m. ET
Opening Line: New England -6, 48
Preview: For the first time in over four seasons, the Minnesota Vikings and New England Patriots will collide on the gridiron in NFL betting action at top rated sportsbooks. Each team was expected to be a major player in making a run at the Lombardi Trophy this season, but each has shown cracks in the facade. Both will be looking to win a second straight game when they square off in the premiere afternoon matchup on the Week 13 slate. New England is 4-0 SU and 3-1 ATS in the last four meetings with the under cashing three times. Continue...
Los Angeles Chargers at Pittsburgh Steelers, Heinz Field – 8:20 p.m. ET ( NBC )
Opening Line: Pittsburgh -3.5, 52.5
Preview: A huge litmus test presents itself in Week 13 for a Los Angeles Chargers team that’s compiled a gaudy 8-3 record at online sportsbooks against some very questionable opposition. The Pittsburgh Steelers don’t align with that category regardless of the fact that Mike Tomlin’s troops enter this tilt off a disappointing road loss to another AFC West opponent. Since dropping its first two home games, the yellow and black have made minced meat of the last three opponents that ventured into Heinz Field. Will the Chargers play the role of the fourth? Continue...
Washington Redskins at Philadelphia Eagles, Lincoln Financial Field – 8:15 p.m. ET ( ESPN )
Opening Line: Philadelphia -7, 44
Preview: The reigning Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles enter this tilt off securing an enormous comeback victory over the division rival New York Giants to catapult themselves back into the thick of the NFC East title race. Another divisional opponent invades the Linc on Monday Night Football when the Washington Redskins take the field looking to bounce back from their Turkey Day defeat to the Dallas Cowboys. This will be the first meeting between these division rivals in 2018. Let’s put the game under the microscope and see where we can attack it from a player prop’s perspective to make the end results of the game even more beneficial. Continue...
