Peyton Manning is not walking through that door! Life after Manning didn’t prove to be so sweet for the Denver Broncos last season as the team was unable to defend their Super Bowl title. Despite decent performances from Trevor Siemian and Paxton Lynch, neither quarterback could rekindle the magic that led to a Super Bowl title as the team could only score 47 points in its last four games and the team ended up missing the playoffs. The best bellwether for whether or not this team has what it takes will come in Week 10 when they host the New England Patriots.
Aside from that game, the week has a lot of quality action. The Seattle Seahawks and Arizona Cardinals will face off on Thursday night football in a game that has massive implications for the NFC West division race. These teams are once again the big favorites to win the division and this is the first meeting between these two sides in 2017.
Two of the best teams in the NFC highlight the Sunday afternoon slate. The Atlanta Falcons represented the conference in the Super Bowl last year, but the Dallas Cowboys were the best team in the regular season. This should be a shootout with both teams featuring explosive offenses and not much in the way of defense.
The week will end with the Carolina Panthers hosting the Miami Dolphins on Monday Night Football.

Seattle Seahawks at Arizona Cardinals, University of Phoenix Stadium - 8:25 p.m. ET ( NFLN, NBC, AMAZON )
Opening Line: Seahawks -6.5, O/U 43
Preview: Both the Seattle Seahawks and Arizona Cardinals were figured to be in the mix for the NFC West title at the outset of the regular season. With each currently looking up in the standings to the surprising Los Angeles Rams, this matchup on Thursday Night Football to kick off Week 10 festivities becomes all the more important. These teams played to an ugly 6-6 tie the last time they locked horns in the desert where the Seahawks have covered each of the last four times. Continue...
New Orleans Saints at Buffalo Bills, New Era Field – 1 p.m. ET ( FOX )
Opening Line: Saints -2.5, O/U 48.5
Preview: The New Orleans Saints will be gunning for a seventh straight win in Week 10 when they hit the highway for a crucial NFC/AFC clash with the win hungry Buffalo Bills. Sean Payton’s troops just wrapped up a successful two-game home sweep of the Bears and Bucs, and will be out to score a fourth straight win on the road. The Bills failed to pull even with the Patriots atop the AFC East after falling to the Jets in New York on Thursday night. Continue...
Green Bay Packers at Chicago Bears, Soldier Field - 1 p.m. ET ( FOX )
Opening Line: Bears -5, O/U 38
Preview: The Chicago Bears haven’t defeated the hated Green Bay Packers at home since 2010. Linemakers expect that ugly streak to end in Week 10 with Chicago lined as moderate favorites to win the rival’s second and final meeting of the regular season. Green Bay took the first clash at Lambeau Field by a 35-14 final count, but that was with Aaron Rodgers leading the offense. The Brett Hundley era is now 0-2 straight up and against the spread after falling on Monday Night Football, and he’s yet to make a start on the road. Continue...
Cleveland Browns at Detroit Lions, Ford Field - 1 p.m. ET ( CBS )
Opening Line: Lions -12, O/U 44
Preview: Fresh off a thumping of the Green Bay Packers on Monday Night Football, the Detroit Lions will look to avoid suffering a letdown as huge favorites when they welcome the winless Cleveland Browns into the Motor City in Week 10. The Browns have the advantage of playing on extra rest having been on bye last week, but that’s where their advantage in this matchup begins and ends. Cleveland has lost its three road games by an average of 11 points per game. Continue...
Pittsburgh Steelers at Indianapolis Colts, Lucas Oil Stadium - 1 p.m. ET ( CBS )
Opening Line: Steelers -10, O/U 43
Preview: The Pittsburgh Steelers return to the gridiron in Week 10 looking to build upon a three game win streak that last saw them score a solid 20-15 road win and cover versus the Lions in Motown. The Indianapolis Colts also enter this tilt off a rare win after going into Houston and handing the depressed Texans a 20-14 defeat as touchdown underdogs. This rivalry has seen the black and yellow come out on top in each of the last four and post a 3-1 record versus the linemakers. Continue...
Los Angeles Chargers at Jacksonville Jaguars, EverBank Field - 1 p.m. ET ( CBS )
Opening Line: Jaguars -4, O/U 41.5
Preview: The Jacksonville Jaguars continue to be one of the biggest surprises of the 2017-18 NFL season heading into Week 10. Doug Marrone’s squad just rattled off a second straight win and the fifth of the season last week to pull even with the Titans when they handled the Cincinnati Bengals with ease sans Leonard Fournette. The Los Angeles Chargers saw their three-game win streak go by the wayside the last time they hit the gridiron in a non-covering loss at New England. Continue...
New York Jets at Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Raymond James Stadium - 1 p.m. ET ( CBS )
Opening Line: Buccaneers -8
Preview: The New York Jets will have an excellent opportunity to surpass their 4.5-game season win total when they hit the road for a Week 10 tilt against the struggling Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Jets put forth a dominant effort last Thursday night to surprise many in getting by the Buffalo Bills. The Bucs looked listless once again in a one-sided defeat at New Orleans. This will be the first meeting on the gridiron between these franchises since 2013. Continue...
Cincinnati Bengals at Tennessee Titans, LP Field - 1 p.m. ET ( FOX )
Opening Line: Titans -4, O/U 40.5
Preview: Marvin Lewis’ days as head coach of the Cincinnati Bengals have to be coming to a close. Fresh off the team’s second loss in the last three weeks at Jacksonville, they’ll head to Nashville to run up against a Tennessee Titans team that looked more fresh in last week’s home triumph over the Baltimore Ravens. Though Mike Mularkey’s squad failed to cover the game, they’re once again installed decisive favorites to tally win No. 6 overall. Continue...
Minnesota Vikings at Washington Redskins, FedExField - 1 p.m. ET ( FOX )
Opening Line: Vikings -2.5, O/U 43
Preview: The Minnesota Vikings enter this Week 10 tilt refreshed and ready to go following their bye week. Mike Zimmer’s squad currently sits in the catbird seat of the injury ravaged NFC North, but it best not take the Washington Redskins for granted with Jay Gruden’s squad fully capable of defending its house as a short underdog. These teams squared off a FedEx Field last season with the Skins going off the board as miniscule home chalk. The roles have been reversed this time around. Continue...
Houston Texans at Los Angeles Rams, L.A. Memorial Coliseum – 4:05 p.m. ET ( CBS )
Opening Line: Rams -10, O/U 47
Preview: The Los Angeles Rams now find themselves in big boy territory heading into Week 10 with Sean McVay’s squad owning the fourth shortest odds to represent the NFC in Super Bowl LII. The Rams opened the season as +7500 underdogs along with the Chicago Bears, but now check in at +690. The Houston Texans were flying up the futures odds charts to win the AFC, but now that Deshaun Watson is done for the year, they’re hefty +9500 underdogs to pull off the feat. Continue...
Dallas Cowboys at Atlanta Falcons, Mercedes-Benz Stadium – 4:25 p.m. ET ( FOX )
Opening Line: Falcons -3, O/U 50.5
Preview: The Atlanta Falcons have been one of the bigger disappointments through the first nine weeks of the regular season. They’ll look to get their campaign back on track in Week 10 when they return to the comforts of Mercedes-Benz Stadium in hopes of scoring their first home win since Week 2. Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys will have much to say about that however with Jason Garrett’s squad looking to remain undefeated since returning from its Week 6 bye. Continue...
New York Giants at San Francisco 49ers, Levi’s Stadium – 4:25 p.m. ET ( FOX )
Opening Line: Giants -1, O/U 42
Preview: The race for the top pick in the 2018-19 NFL Draft continues for the San Francisco 49ers in Week 10. Only this time, they’ll be matched up against a New York Giants outfit that’s also likely aiming to secure that top draft pick. In this battle of league-worsts, the Giants opened up short 1-point favorites which has since been bet down to a pick ‘em. If you have the intestinal fortitude to stomach a game like this, all the more power to you! Continue...
New England Patriots at Denver Broncos, Sports Authority Field - 8:30 p.m. ET ( NBC )
Opening Line: Patriots -7, O/U 46.5
Preview: The last time the Denver Broncos were showcased on Sunday Night Football, they dropped a head scratching 23-10 decision to the New York Giants as decided favorites. They haven’t won or covered a game since. They’ll look to rectify that in Week 10, but find themselves installed hefty underdogs to do so against the defending Super Bowl champion New England Patriots. Denver failed to compete in a 16-3 loss to the Patriots in last year’s throw down in the Mile High City. Continue...
Miami Dolphins at Carolina Panthers, Bank of America Stadium – 8:30 p.m. ET ( ESPN )
Opening Line: Panthers -9, O/U 39.5
Preview: What did we do to the schedule makers to have to endure the Miami Dolphins in back-to-back-to-back prime time showcase games? Regardless of what it was, Adam Gase’s squad will take the field on Monday Night Football in the Week 10 concluder looking to bounce back from last Sunday night’s loss to the Oakland Raiders. Looking to prevent them from doing so will be a schizophrenic Carolina Panthers outfit that’s been nearly impossible for me to peg all season long. Continue...
