Formula 1 (F1) Grand Prix Betting Tips
Find formula 1 betting tips on all the competitors, the cars and the tracks. That way, when you are ready to start your F1 betting, you will be able to easily spot the best odds. When you are checking out online betting sites, always read the small print on the site and make sure you are familiar with any rules and restrictions.
Before you start you should have knowledge of drivers and past winners. Some drivers tend to do better on some tracks than others. Weather is always a factor sense the series of F1 races take place around the world. Driving in rain can put a damper on the odds.
Also, when you start betting on Formula One races make sure you define your budget. Do not gamble more than you are willing to lose. As with any betting, the element of risk is what provides the excitement. However, it is wise to operate with risk in a controlled manner. For example, you might decide to lay down 80% of your budget on one particular outcome, but then put 20% aside in case that outcome does not occur so that it can be used on another predicted outcome.
Select your strategy. Your strategy will involve deciding how to divide your budget over the weekend. You may not decide to bet on every aspect, but by determining your strategy, you will be more likely to stick to your budget and you will have a planned course of action.
Another key element to becoming profitable in F1 betting is the ability to compare odds and get the best prices available. This means that serious F1 bettors need to have funded accounts at several online bookmakers.
Also, look for Match bet odds, online sportsbooks mostly focused on the outright winner odds, while paying smaller interest on the betting line on who will get on the Podium along with individual match bets. Match bets are very popular, this is where you bet that one driver performs better than another diver, simple as that, you don’t even have to worry about winning the race, it’s a mythical two car contest, if your driver finishes ninth and the opponent is twelfth, you win the bet. Again putting one or two drivers together in your bet can increase the odds dramatically.
And Finally, enjoy the betting on Formula One races and don’t get too carried away – there is always another race.
Formula One History and Facts
Formula One, abbreviated to F1, is the highest class of open wheeled auto racing defined by the Federation Internationale de l`Automobile(FIA), motor sport`s world governing body. The "formula" in the name is a set of rules which all participants and cars must meet. The F1 world championship season consists of a series of races, known as Grands Prix, held usually on purpose-built circuits, and in a few cases on closed city streets. The results of each race are combined to determine two annual World Championships, one for drivers and one for constructors.
The cars race at high speeds, greater than 320 km/h (200 mph), and are capable of pulling up to 5g in some corners. The performance of the cars is highly dependent on electronics, aerodynamics, suspension and tires. The formula has seen many evolution and changes through the history of the sport.
Each Formula one race usually last a weekend and include a number of practice sessions for racers. Races typically have a total distance between 160 and 200 miles. The winner is the first car to cross the finish line.

As the Formula One season ends, the Formula E series takes its place on the racing calender, but instead of internal combustion engines, these new cars pack lithium-ion batteries and motors that resembles the hum of a TIE Fighter's engines, or the loud whine of podracers from "Phantom Menace."
Racing exclusively on street circuits in some of the world’s most iconic cities, Formula E is aiming to appeal to a new generation of motorsport fans, with ten teams, each with two drivers, competing in solely electric Renault-powered cars with some of the most advanced racing technology ever seen.
