NCAA Football Predictions - Week 7 College Football Odds

Bet NCAA Week 7 Football PicksWelcome to Gamblers Palace…your home for all College football Week 7 odds and NCAA betting predictions. If you’re looking to build that bankroll, you’ve come to the right place!

The 2017 college football season is heading for its most important week, and the competition off the field among fans is nearly as heated as the competition on the field on game day. Week 7 is also, a week where a few teams are going to try to get some redemption from tough losses.

Conference championship games aren't on tap until the first week of December, but there are plenty of pivotal pairings that’ll go on to impact conference races, principally in the Pac-12 South, ACC Coastal, Big Ten and SEC.

Week 7 of the College football betting season is set to go, and a huge slate of college football betting action will be on tap this weekend, that is going to completely reshape the national landscape, not just from a playoff standpoint, but also in terms of who will be in position to take various conference and division titles.

Check out our live odds and analysis below for every big game on the Week 7 college football odds board.

Championship dreams are going up in smoke each and every week across the country. Last week, it was Louisville, Oklahoma and Michigan who were all handed crippling defeats. Week 7 is shaping up to seem like a tame week, but then again, Week 6 was supposed to be much of the same, and we saw what happened.

It's hard to say that there is a single "showcase game" of Week 7. There isn't a single game pitting a pair of Top 25 teams against each other. That said, 11 of the Top 25 teams in the land are playing on the road, and we all know how that regularly ends.

The drama could start on Friday night with Clemson and Washington State both playing on the road. The Tigers may or may not have Kelly Bryant in this game against one of the more stingy teams in America. Syracuse is guaranteed to run offense at a fast and furious pace. If Bryant is truly out of the fold in this one, the Tigers could be on upset alert even though they're favored by three touchdowns.

Washington State's season changed on a Friday night when it beat USC two weeks ago. It could all change again when the team plays against the Golden Bears in Berkeley. This is the game of the year as far as Cal is concerned, and that's a dangerous spot for a Top 10 squad that is just getting used to being the hunted instead of the hunters.

The Top 25 has a lot of new entrants this week, and they're all going to be in for some frights in Week 6. N.C. State just reached the Top 25 by beating Louisville. Now, it has to play at Pittsburgh. Texas Tech will visit West Virginia after joining the Top 25 last week. The boys from Lubbock are sizable 6-point dogs in Morgantown. Navy is also a comfortable dog at Memphis.

Speaking of rarities in college football, two of the blue bloods of the sport are in some serious trouble this week. LSU hasn't been this big of an underdog since the mid-90s against Auburn, while Nebraska is the biggest home underdog it has been since before its glory days in the 80s and 90s with Ohio State coming to town.

College Football Wednesday, October 11, 2017

South Alabama at Troy, 8 p.m. ET (ESPN2)

Opening Line: Troy -17

Preview: The Troy Trojans made a name for themselves a week and a half ago when they were able to go on the road and wreck homecoming for the LSU Tigers. They've got to avoid a major letdown in their first midweek game of the season when they take on the South Alabama Jaguars in Week 7. Continue...

College Football Thursday, October 12, 2017

Texas State at Louisiana Lafayette, 7:30 p.m. ET (ESPNU)

Opening Line: Louisiana Lafayette -14.5

Preview: When the Sun Belt has games on Thursday night, they often take undercard status to some of the bigger games on the board. With the ACC having to move the originally-scheduled Georgia Tech/Miami game thanks to Hurricane Irma, the Texas State Bobcats and Louisiana Lafayette Ragin' Cajuns are set to take centerstage in the only college football game of the night on Thursday. Continue...

College Football Friday, October 13, 2017

Clemson at Syracuse, 7 p.m. ET (ESPN)

Opening Line: Clemson -21

Preview: The Clemson Tigers have had a bad habit this year of turning up relatively lame in games against the middling teams in the ACC. The Syracuse Orange are becoming best-known for their "Go, go, go" offense and are one of the tougher teams in America to try to prepare for. But by now, all of the top handicappers and sportsbooks know just that, and that could level out this spread for this Friday night fight at the Carrier Dome. Continue...

Washington State at California, 10:30 p.m. ET (ESPN)

Opening Line: Washington State -13.5

Preview: It really is time to take the Washington State Cougars seriously. They're up in the Top 10 in America and are coming off of a game against Oregon in which they won 33-10. They were short underdogs in that game even with the U of O using a backup quarterback. That said, it can all go up in flames quickly for Washington State, and this game at the California Golden Bears in Week 7 could be the pothole that derails its season. Continue...

College Football Saturday, October 14, 2017

TCU at Kansas State, 12 p.m. ET (FS1)

Opening Line: Check Back Later

Preview: The TCU Horned Frogs woke up on Sunday as the only undefeated team left in the Big XII. They've gone from the presumptive third choices in the conference to miles in front of the two Oklahoma schools in a span of just two weeks. But as anyone knows who watches Big XII football religiously, this road trip in Week 7 against the Kansas State Wildcats could be the undoing of any team in the land. Continue...

Michigan at Indiana, 12 p.m. ET (ABC)

Opening Line: Michigan -6

Preview: The Michigan Wolverines looked overhyped every step of the way this season. They finally crumbled when they had a good, yet unspectacular team come to the Big House. Michigan State didn't put the dagger in Michigan's title hopes just yet, but if Big Blue can't come back and put together an impressive victory over the Indiana Hoosiers in Bloomington, they can kiss their CFP dreams goodbye. Continue...

Texas Tech at West Virginia, 12 p.m. ET (ESPNU)

Opening Line: West Virginia -6

Preview: The West Virginia Mountaineers represented themselves well last week in their loss at TCU. That said, at some point, they have to win one of these big-time games if they want to be taken seriously as national contenders. This week's game against the Texas Tech Red Raiders figures to be of the easier variety, yet the boys from Lubbock always seem to be a pain to handle. Continue...

Florida State at Duke, 12 p.m. ET (ESPN2)

Opening Line: Florida State -6.5

Preview: The Florida State Seminoles have officially hit a new low. They're just 1-3 in their first four games of the season, and though they have every excuse to be this bad, it's not acceptable in Tallahassee. With all hopes of even a New Year's Six bid officially up in flames, the Seminoles will have to figure out how to rally to avoid the indignation of yet another loss, this time to the Duke Blue Devils in Durham. Continue...

South Carolina at Tennessee, 12 p.m. ET (ESPN)

Opening Line: Tennessee -2.5

Preview: Butch Jones' future with the Tennessee Volunteers probably comes down to these last seven games of the season. With the SEC East title now firmly out of view after losses to both Florida and Georgia, the best the Vols can hope to finish is 9-3, assuming they don't have a shot at Alabama next week. This game against the South Carolina Gamecocks becomes an absolute must-win for the men from Rocky Top. Continue...

Boston College at Louisville, 12:20 p.m. ET (ACC Network)

Opening Line: Louisville -19.5

Preview: You hate to write off a team in the second week of October, but the Louisville Cardinals are finished. They've already been beaten by both Clemson and N.C. State, and it's easy to question their motivation the rest of the way. The Boston College Eagles would love nothing more than to make life a nightmare for Lamar Jackson and company at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium in Week 7. Continue...

Purdue at Wisconsin, 3:30 p.m. ET (BTN)

Opening Line: Wisconsin -18

Preview: The Wisconsin Badgers are still in search of respect in the lowly Big Ten West. They've run out to 5-0 on the season and seem destined to have their name in the discussion for the College Football Playoff for a while. Unfortunately, wins over Utah State, Florida Atlantic, BYU, Northwestern and Nebraska don't exactly make up a resume worthy of the CFP. A victory on Saturday over the Purdue Boilermakers probably won't help the cause any either. Continue...

Auburn at LSU, 3:30 p.m. ET (CBS)

Opening Line: Auburn -6

Preview: Ed Orgeron has this way of drawing the best out of his team when he needs it the most. The LSU Tigers looked and felt dead going into the Swamp against Florida last weekend, especially off of their loss to Troy the week prior. Instead, the Bayou Bengals bucked up, beat the Gators in Gainesville by a margin of a shanked extra point. Now, they're feeling good about themselves again with their annual game against the Auburn Tigers on tap in Week 7. Continue...

Georgia Tech at Miami, 3:30 p.m. ET (ABC)

Opening Line: Miami -7.5

Preview: The Miami Hurricanes have officially proclaimed that they're back in the National Championship picture. After beating Florida State, the Canes are now 4-0 and have to be taken seriously. There's a long way to go, though, and this game at home against the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets on Saturday afternoon is no joke. Continue...

Oklahoma vs. Texas, 3:30 p.m. ET (ESPN)

Opening Line: Oklahoma -7.5

Preview: The Oklahoma Sooners are under a new head coach as Big Game Bob Stoops surprised everyone with a summer retirement announcement leaving the keys with his wonder kid offensive coordinator Lincoln Riley, who earned the trust of Sooner nation with a huge primetime national TV win at Ohio State in week two. He then gave that trust right back in a stinker of an upset loss to Iowa State last week. Unlike Texas, however, the Sooners were considered a top college football playoff contender before Riley took over. But now many are not so sure. Let’s look at Saturday’s battle between Oklahoma and Texas and college football picks. Continue...

Baylor at Oklahoma State, 3:30 p.m. ET (FS1)

Opening Line: Oklahoma State -23

Preview: The Baylor Bears are still in search of their first victory of the season. They're the last team in the Power Five to be without a victory, a fact that probably isn't going to change when they head to Stillwater to take on the Oklahoma State Cowboys in Week 7. Continue...

Villanova at James Madison, 3:30 p.m. ET (ESPN3)

Opening Line: James Madison -15.5 O/U 43.5

Preview: For the eighth time in College GameDay’s history, the best pregame show in college football is heading to an FCS game. The James Madison Dukes have not dropped a single FCS game since Mike Houston took over the coaching duties for the team last year. James Madison knocked off all the big boys on its way to its second national title in 2016, and has looked untouchable so far this year too. The Villanova Wildcats have the unenviable task of being their opponent this weekend. Continue...

Texas A&M at Florida, 7 p.m. ET (ESPN2)

Opening Line: Florida -4

Preview: If the Florida Gators are going to have a realistic chance of winning the SEC East for a third consecutive season, they're probably not going to have a choice but to beat the Texas A&M Aggies in Week 7. That said, A&M is fresh off of a good game against Alabama, perhaps the best game the Tide have received all season long. Continue...

Arkansas at Alabama, 7:15 p.m. ET (ESPN)

Opening Line: Alabama -30

Preview: The Alabama Crimson Tide finally looked relatively humane last week against Texas A&M. Still, on a night when things didn't go well on the road, the No. 1 team in America pulled out a victory to stay undefeated. The Tide now roll back home where the Arkansas Razorbacks are coming to try to spoil the party in Week 7. Continue...

Missouri at Georgia, 7:30 p.m. ET (SEC Network)

Opening Line: Georgia -29.5

Preview: Kirby Smart has a new starting quarterback and a team that is quietly marching towards a de facto national quarterfinal against Alabama or Auburn in the SEC Championship Game. The Georgia Bulldogs have been ridiculously workmanlike this year, and now that they've unofficially/officially declared Jake Fromm their new starting quarterback, they've got a clear direction. Saturday's tussle with the Missouri Tigers doesn't figure to provide much of a challenge. Continue...

Ohio State at Nebraska, 7:30 p.m. ET (FS1)

Opening Line: Ohio State -21.5

Preview: The Nebraska Cornhuskers hung in there for 35 minutes against Wisconsin last week at home before ultimately getting shellacked by three touchdowns. If they have the same sort of problems in the second half against the Ohio State Buckeyes this week, they could be staring an historically bad defeat in the face that sends Mike Riley to the unemployment line. Continue...

Cincinnati at South Florida, 7:30 p.m. ET (ESPNU)

Opening Line: South Florida -24.5

Preview: With Florida State and Florida both down this year and Miami still full of questions, it's a wonder if the South Florida Bulls are the best team in the Sunshine State. They're on the verge of making some history in Week 7 against the Cincinnati Bearcats in a game that could go a long way towards determining their fate in the New Year's Six. Continue...

Utah at USC, 8 p.m. ET (ABC)

Opening Line: USC -12.5

Preview: The fun and games is over for the Utah Utes. Even though they started at 4-0, they're in a spot where wins are going to likely be few and far between the rest of the way. A week after losing to Stanford and falling out of the Top 25, the Utes are back in action against the USC Trojans in the ABC primetime game of the week. Continue...

UCLA at Arizona, 9 p.m. ET (Pac-12 Network)

Opening Line: Pick 'Em

Preview: t's easy to forget just how wide open the Pac-12 South is. All six teams in the bunch already have a conference loss to their credit, and there's a good chance that the first team to six wins in conference play will reach the Pac-12 Championship Game. That means that both the UCLA Bruins and Arizona Wildcats are theoretically live in spite of the fact that both have struggled for much of this season to reach expectations. Continue...

Boise State at San Diego State, 10:30 p.m. ET (CBSSN)

Opening Line: San Diego State -7

Preview: There isn't much separating the San Diego State Aztecs and an undefeated season at this point. Rocky Long's crew has already beaten Arizona State, Stanford and Air Force, and there isn't a game left on the docket in which they'll be underdogs. Will that be good enough to get into the New Year's Six? Probably so if they can pull it off. The biggest issue left ahead is the challenge this week that is forthcoming from the hungry Boise State Broncos. Continue...

Washington at Arizona State, 10:45 p.m. ET (ESPN)

Opening Line: Washington -16.5

Preview: The Washington Huskies are back ranked in the top five in America, and they've continuously put down all of the middling teams the Pac-12 has to offer. Up next is another game against a fringy-at-best bowl team, the Arizona State Sun Devils. Coach Todd Graham needs a huge upset like this one in the worst way to take some of the pressure off of him in the desert. Continue...

Oregon at Stanford, 11 p.m. ET (FS1)

Opening Line: Stanford -10.5

Preview: You just knew that David Shaw's team wasn't going to be down for long.

The Stanford Cardinal had a tough stretch in September, but they've come out of the blocks in October with guns blazing. Now, they're back in the Top 25 in the land and have a shot to stay in the Pac-12 title race if they can take care of the reeling Oregon Ducks down on "The Farm" on Saturday night. Continue...
