Tuesday and Wednesday night of Week 10 is reserved for some MACtion! Bowling Green and Northern Illinois start the festivities on November 1 at 7 p.m. ET with the game televised on ESPN2. These rivals have met in the MAC title game each of the last three seasons. The Huskies will be looking to avenge the 34-14 beat down they absorbed in the finale last season.
The Oklahoma Sooners will look to avoid a letdown Thursday night with a big one against the Baylor Bears the following week. Iowa State gave some teams issues when paying in Ames last season, so OU better bring its “A” game. Live bet this one to your heart’s content at 7:30 p.m. ET on ESPN.
The Temple Owls will be out to continue their dominance of the UConn Huskies against the betting spread on Friday night when the teams collide in East Division AAC play at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN2. Defense has been the name of the game when these teams have recently hooked up with the under a money-making 6-0-1 in the last eight skirmishes.
The week closes out Saturday, November 5, with a big one at the ‘Shoe where the Ohio State Buckeyes and Nebraska Cornhuskers meet in Big Ten play for the first time since 2012. The last time Big Red paid a visit to Columbus, they were slaughtered 63-38. Each of these program’s meetings as conference rivals combined to go over the closing sportsbook betting line. Live betting for this one will begin at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.

Alabama. LSU. That's about all you need to know about Week 10 of the college football season. If the Crimson Tide are going to get beaten at any point over the course of this season, this is where it's going to happen. They've got to go into Baton Rouge at night, and this is about all the Bayou Bengals have left to play for after losing a couple games relatively early in the campaign. It's also probably the last shot Ed Orgeron has of keeping this job on a full-time basis.
But this isn't the only top team in the land in a lot of trouble in Week 10. Even early in the week, there are a couple teams in the Top 20 in Western Michigan and Oklahoma who have to go on the road. Neither one is expected to struggle against Ball State or Iowa State respectively, but this time of year, nothing is a given.
Texas A&M has to play at Mississippi State to kick off the early games, while Louisville has to also play on the road against Boston College. It's also a dangerous spot for Clemson to be in against a Syracuse team that is up and coming. The Tigers survived last week's game against Florida State on the road, and it's hard to get another good game together in short order against a team that isn't nearly as notable. And don't forget about Washington playing against Cal in Berkeley, a place where the Golden Bears haven't lost this year.
Both Florida and Florida State have to go on the road as well in Week 10 to take on Arkansas and N.C. State respectively, and it's probably a good bet that at least one of the two is going to get upset.
And then there's the de facto eliminator game in the Big Ten. Ohio State and Nebraska are both saddled with a loss already this season, and a second loss would be the end of their chances to win the Big Ten or play in the CFP.
Bowling Green at Northern Illinois, Huskie Stadium - 8 p.m. ET ( ESPNU )
Opening Line: Northern Illinois -15.5
Preview: Over the course of the last several seasons, a game between the Bowling Green Falcons and the Northern Illinois Huskies would have been can't miss television viewing. Instead, this season, neither one is going to end up in a bowl game, and both have taken massive steps in the wrong direction. One will end up grabbing a victory to kick off Week 10 of the campaign on Tuesday night. Continue...
Western Michigan at Ball State, Scheumann Stadium - 8 p.m. ET ( ESPN2 )
Opening Line: Western Michigan -18.5
Preview: The Western Michigan Broncos are the top dogs in the MAC, and they definitely still have a real shot to get into the New Year's Six as the Group of Five team even now that Boise State has lost. That said, this is a very dangerous game against the Ball State Cardinals in Muncie and should not be overlooked. Continue...
Toledo at Akron, InfoCision Stadium - 7:30 p.m. ET ( ESPN2 )
Opening Line: Toledo -9
Preview: The Toledo Rockets and Akron Zips both have aspirations of winning the MAC, but recent losses for both delivered a huge blow to each of their chances of getting the job done. Now, the two teams are going to be involved in what might be an eliminator for the conference title as a part of the early-week action in Week 10 of the campaign. Continue...
Buffalo at Ohio, Peden Stadium - 6 p.m. ET ( CBSSN )
Opening Line: Ohio -19.5
Preview: The Buffalo Bulls picked up just their second win of the season last week, and they did so against a good Akron team that is probably going to end up in a bowl game. Believe it or not, even at 2-6 SU and 1-3 in the conference, the Bulls aren't out of the discussion in the MAC East, though it's going to take a big upset on Thursday night in Week 10 to keep the Ohio Bobcats from starting to really run away from the rest of the field. Continue...
Oklahoma at Iowa State, Jack Trice Stadium - 7:30 p.m. ET ( ESPN )
Opening Line: Oklahoma -19.5
Preview: Undefeated in Big 12 play and winners of five straight, the Oklahoma Sooners will look to continue their quest of capturing a New Year’s Day bowl bid in Week 10 when they hit the road for Ames where they’ve won each of their last six trips dating back to 1995. The Iowa State Cyclones will have something to say about that even though they’re yet to tally a win in conference and enter this spot losers of four straight. Continue...
Arkansas State at Georgia State, Georgia Dome - 7:30 p.m. ET ( ESPNU )
Opening Line: Check Back Later
Preview: The Arkansas State Red Wolves might be just 3-4, but they've won the three games that have mattered the most in conference play and are still absolutely in the race for the Sun Belt title. They've got to go on the road for the first time in conference play in Week 10 of the season though, and the Georgia State Panthers aren't just going to lay down and die. Continue...
UCLA at Colorado, Folsom Field - 9 p.m. ET ( FS1 )
Opening Line: Colorado -10.5
Preview: In danger of missing out on the bowl season for the first time since 2010, the UCLA Bruins will hit the road for Boulder in Week 10 fresh off a bye week looking to snap a three game losing streak that now finds them only ahead of Arizona in the Pac-12 South standings. The Colorado Buffaloes will also enter this tilt rested off a bye looking to snag their first ever win over UCLA as a member of the Pac-12 Conference. Continue...
Central Michigan at Miami ( OH ), Yager Stadium - 6 p.m. ET ( CBSSN )
Opening Line: Central Michigan -3.5
Preview: The Miami Redhawks might be just 3-6, but they're firmly in the MAC East race with just a few games left in the regular season. There's no room left for error at this point, but then again, there was no margin for error three weeks ago when this team was 0-6. The Redhawks are definitely going to be a threat in Week 10 against the Central Michigan Chippewas, a team heading in the wrong direction in a hurry. Continue...
Temple at Connecticut, Rentschler Field - 7 p.m. ET ( ESPN2 )
Opening Line: Temple -11.5
Preview: The Temple Owls had a big rally in the second half to beat Cincinnati last week, and now, they've got a crystal clear path to the AAC Championship Game. Perhaps their biggest test left is the one in front of them on Friday night in Week 10 of the campaign against the Connecticut Huskies, a team that is still clinging to some last hopes of bowl eligibility. Continue...
San Jose State at Boise State, Albertsons Stadium - 10:15 p.m. ET ( ESPN2 )
Opening Line: Boise State -28
Preview: The Boise State Broncos had their perfect season spoiled last week when they were beaten at Wyoming. Not all hope is lost, though. The team still could win the conference if the Cowboys slip twice, and even if they don't, they still have a legitimate chance to represent the Group of Five in the New Year's Six. The problem here, is that the team really has zero margin for error any longer, and it's normal for these good teams to go on a bit of skid after losing that first game. The San Jose State Spartans hope to pull off one of the biggest shocks of the year on the Smurf Turf in Week 10. Continue...
Navy vs. Notre Dame, EverBank Field - 11:30 a.m. ET ( CBS )
Opening Line: Notre Dame -5.5
Preview: The Navy Midshipmen have the inside track to win the AAC, but stumbled badly last week in a loss against South Florida. The Bulls racked up over 400 yards and five touchdowns in a game that was not nearly as close as the final score indicated. It was an awful performance for a run defense that had been solid before the game, but needs to improve in a hurry. That run defense will face another big test in Week 10 college football action when it faces the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in a neutral site game. Continue...
Wisconsin at Northwestern, Ryan Field - 12 p.m. ET ( ABC )
Opening Line: Wisconsin -5.5
Preview: There's a lot of talk right now about the Wisconsin Badgers. They're the top two-loss team in America, and they still have a legitimate shot of winning the Big Ten and playing in the College Football Playoff. However, they're not the only team with two losses in the Big Ten that has been making noise of late. The Northwestern Wildcats have quietly been playing good football as well, and that could make this game in Evanston in Week 10 a little more interesting than it should be. Continue...
Texas A&M at Mississippi State, Davis Wade Stadium - 12 p.m. ET ( SEC Network )
Opening Line: Texas A&M -12
Preview: The Texas AM Aggies have just one more road game this season, and that comes in Week 9 of the campaign. The game couldn't be easier by SEC standards, as the team on deck is the Mississippi State Bulldogs. That said, no game is a given victory on the road in the SEC, so the Aggies should be on high alert if they want to keep their National Championship hopes alive. Continue...
Vanderbilt at Auburn, Jordan-Hare Stadium - 12 p.m. ET ( ESPN )
Opening Line: Auburn -24.5
Preview: You probably know just how hot the Auburn Tigers are in the SEC. But you probably don't realize that the Vanderbilt Commodores have won a couple games in a row and definitely aren't going to be out of the discussion of an upset down at Jordan Hare in Week 10. Continue...
Air Force at Army, Michie Stadium - 12 p.m. ET ( CBSSN )
Opening Line: Air Force -2
Preview: It's been quite a long time since all three of the service academies have been good in football, but we're at that point this year that all three of them could end up in a bowl game. The Air Force Falcons can win the Commander in Chief Trophy this year by sweeping the two fellow armed forces teams if they can beat the up and coming Army Black Knights in Week 10. Continue...
Texas at Texas Tech, Jones AT&T Stadium - 12 p.m. ET ( FS1 )
Opening Line: Check Back Later
Preview: The Texas Longhorns have been a great tease at times this year. They beat Notre Dame to kick off the season at home, and many really believed that they were back to being one of the top teams in America. They really didn't have a good time of it going forward, but last week, they beat Baylor to once again show some glimpses of heading in the right direction. Can they keep it rolling this time in Week 10 against the Texas Tech Red Raiders? Continue...
Louisville at Boston College, Alumni Stadium - 12 p.m. ET ( ESPN2 )
Opening Line: Louisville -25
Preview: The Louisville Cardinals will look to snare their sixth ACC win of the season and fourth within the division in Week 10 when they head to Chestnut Hill to take on a Boston College Eagles squad its had absolutely no issues with since joining the conference. Bobby Petrino’s kids had all kinds of trouble putting away the Virginia Cavaliers in the first leg of this two game roady last week. Sitting at No. 7 in the first release of the CFP rankings, a better showing is to be expected on Saturday. Continue...
Georgia Southern at Ole Miss, Vaught-Hemingway Stadium - 12 p.m. ET ( ESPNU )
Opening Line: Ole Miss -27
Preview: It hasn't been a good year in Oxford whatsoever. The Ole Miss Rebels started this season with National Championship aspirations, yet they've been beaten five times. Granted, all five losses have come against really good teams, but the fact that they haven't been able to win any of the big bouts may as well be a catastrophe. The Georgia Southern Eagles shouldn't be providing anywhere near as big of a challenge for the Rebs in what should be a squash game in Week 10. Continue...
Pittsburgh at Miami, Hard Rock Stadium - 12:30 p.m. ET ( ACC Network )
Opening Line: Miami -3.5
Preview: The Pittsburgh Panthers have found themselves on the short end of a number of close defeats this season. Half of their games have seen point spreads of 3.5 points or less, and that will once again be the case in Week 10 when they invade the state of Florida looking to avenge a 29-24 home defeat to the Miami Hurricanes from last season. Each of these teams still has some work to do to become bowl eligible, so this one should be competitive until the clock reads double zeroes. Continue...
Georgia Tech at North Carolina, Kenan Stadium - 12:30 p.m. ET ( ACC Network )
Opening Line: North Carolina -11
Preview: The North Carolina Tar Heels found themselves on the cusp of the College Football Playoff last season before that dream got shattered in the ACC title game against Clemson. While that won’t be the case this time around, Larry Fedora’s kids still have much to play for with a New Year’s Six bowl game still very much a possibility. Looking to play the role of spoiler in Week 10 will be the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets whose triple option attack could give UNC’s maligned rush defense headaches all game long. Continue...
Maryland at Michigan, Michigan Stadium - 3:30 p.m. ET ( ESPN )
Opening Line: Michigan -30.5
Preview: The top teams in the Big Ten have had a lot of problems of late against some of the lesser teams in the conference. The Michigan Wolverines, for example, haven't scored nearly enough to cover either of their last two games. They were never really in danger of losing to either Michigan State or Illinois, and they don't expect to have any issues in Week 10 against the Maryland Terrapins either. Continue...
BYU at Cincinnati, Nippert Stadium - 3:30 p.m. ET ( CBSSN )
Opening Line: BYU -9.5
Preview: Bronco Mendenhall shocked Provo when he announced he was leaving Brigham Young for Virginia at the end of last season. His departure left the department scrambling to find a replacement before AD Tom Holmoe made the decision to promote from within and hire Kalani Sitake. Sitake became the first Tongan ever to become a college football head coach and after a bumpy start, has the BYU Cougars playing good football again. In College Football Week 10, they will travel east to take on the Cincinnati Bearcats. Continue...
Massachusetts at Troy, Veterans Memorial Stadium - 3:30 p.m. ET ( ESPN3 )
Opening Line: Troy -22
Preview: The Massachusetts Minutemen have made their full-fledged move into the FBS, but without a conference and without much of a recruiting base, they're definitely having a hard time trying to keep up. The Troy Trojans were in this spot just a handful of years ago though, just trying to make ends meet in a Sun Belt conference that isn't known for anything truly positive athletically speaking. Now, these two teams meet for the very first time on the football field in Week 10 of the season. Continue...
Syracuse at Clemson, Memorial Stadium - 3:30 p.m. ET ( ESPN2 )
Opening Line: Clemson -26
Preview: The Clemson Tigers only sit behind the Alabama Crimson Tide as favorites to hoist the hardware heading into Week 10 of the 2016-17 college football season. At a perfect 8-0, the Tigers also sit only behind Bama in the initial College Football Playoff rankings that were just released earlier in the week. The Syracuse Orange have taken baby steps towards turning the program around, but they’re still light years away from hanging with a team like Clemson if the Tigers bring their “A” game to the field. Continue...
TCU at Baylor, McLane Stadium - 3:30 p.m. ET ( FOX )
Opening Line: Baylor -10
Preview: The wheels have come off for Gary Patterson and the TCU Horned Frogs by dropping back-to-back games to West Virginia and Texas Tech after getting out to a 2-1 start in Big 12 play. The Baylor Bears already have a win against Oklahoma State who sits ahead of them in the standings and still has a date with OU next week. It’ll be tough for them not to overlook their Week 10 opponent with such a huge game on deck, but last week’s first loss of the season in Austin should have them locked in for this one. Continue...
Florida at Arkansas, Razorback Stadium - 3:30 p.m. ET ( CBS )
Opening Line: Florida -3
Preview: The Florida Gators just keep on winning games. No one is talking about them as National Championship material, but clearly, if they win out, they're going to be in the final four. This starts a stretch of three of their last four games on the road though, and the Arkansas Razorbacks are sure to not let up in Week 10 of the season with one more win needed to reach bowl eligibility. Continue...
Tulane at UCF, Bright House Networks Stadium - 5 p.m. ET ( ESPN3 )
Opening Line: UCF -15
Preview: Only one team in the AAC has yet to record a win in conference play this season. Despite starting the season strong with a 3-2 record, the Tulane Green Wave have yet to record an AAC win and are running out of chances to do it with a tough upcoming schedule. After traveling to face the UCF Knights in Week 10 college football action this week, the Green Wave have road games against Houston and UConn and a home game against Temple remaining. Tulane will be an underdog in all four but HC Willie Fritz needs a win to show he is making real progress. Continue...
Louisiana Tech at North Texas, Apogee Stadium - 5:30 p.m. ET ( ESPN3 )
Opening Line: Louisiana Tech -19.5
Preview: Most college football bettors probably aren't paying much attention to the Conference USA division title races, but there are still a heck of a lot of teams that can still win this conference crown. The Louisiana Tech Bulldogs are in the driver's seat for the time being, but if they can't beat the North Texas Mean Green in Week 10, they're going to be in a heck of a dogfight for the rest of the campaign. Continue...
Florida State at N.C. State, Carter-Finley Stadium - 7 p.m. ET ( ESPNU )
Opening Line: Florida State -8
Preview: What once looked like a sure-fire bowl qualifier, the North Carolina State Wolfpack have taken a giant tumble having dropped three straight with the last coming in embarrassing fashion at home as decided favorites against Boston College. Dave Doeren’s squad faces another uphill climb in Week 10 when it hosts a Florida State Seminoles squad that’s beaten them in three straight. The Wolfpack do however get the benefit of hosting a Noles team that’s sure to be hungover and beat up after going to the wire against Clemson last week. Continue...
Oregon at USC, Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum - 7 p.m. ET ( ESPN )
Opening Line: USC -14
Preview: The Oregon Ducks have won and covered four of their last five skirmishes with the Pac-12 rival USC Trojans. They went off the board favored to win in each of the last four meetings but find themselves decided underdogs for this Week 10 tilt in the Coliseum. Mark Helfrich’s kids just logged their first conference win of the season and still have a shot at becoming bowl eligible. While it’s a long shot, look for them to go all out in this one against an opponent they’ve recently dominated. Continue...
Kansas at West Virginia, Milan Puskar Stadium - 7 p.m. ET ( ESPN2 )
Opening Line: West Virginia -34.5
Preview: Another week, another sound beating for the Kansas Jayhawks. About the last thing they needed to have happen right now was to play against an angry team ready to get some vengeance for its first loss of the season. That's what's about to go down in Morgantown though, as the West Virginia Mountaineers shouldn't have any problems putting away their Week 10 game against KU. Continue...
Alabama at LSU, Tiger Stadium - 8 p.m. ET ( CBS )
Opening Line: Alabama -7.5
Preview: The LSU Tigers’ Leonard Fournette was the frontrunner to win the Heisman Trophy a season ago until injuries and Derrick Henry derailed his chances later in the season. The Bayou Bengals junior running back will have a shot to launch his name back into serious contention for the Heisman in Week 10 if he can find a way to solve the Alabama Crimson Tide’s defense and lead LSU to the win over their hated rival in Death Valley. Continue...
Nebraska at Ohio State, Ohio Stadium - 8 p.m. ET ( ABC )
Opening Line: Ohio State -13.5
Preview: The Nebraska Cornhuskers might not have won last week in Madison, but they surely showed themselves well against the top two-loss team in America. Now though, any chances of winning the Big Ten probably hinge on a road trip in Week 10 against the Ohio State Buckeyes. The Bucks aren't playing their best at the moment, but they're still incredibly talented and have a lot of promise for the rest of the year. Continue...
Washington at California, Memorial Stadium - 10:30 p.m. ET ( ESPN )
Opening Line: Washington -15.5
Preview: The Washington Huskies learned the hard way that scheduling cream puffs prevents you from getting very far even if you destroy them along the way. The first College Football Playoff rankings were just released, and Chris Petersen’s kids found themselves ranked at the unenviable position of No. 5. Still, there’s time to improve upon that ranking, but taking down a .500 Cal Golden Bears squad in Week 10 likely won’t do much to move them up the rankings. Continue...
