World Series of Fighting 8 - Justin Gaethje vs Richard Patishnock Headlines MMA Gambling Affair

Justin Gaethje Vs Richard Patishnock Prediction

The World Series of Fighting 8 has some of the best fighters in or outside of the UFC with Justin Gaethje vs Richard Patishnock an awesome headliner fight.

The Mixed Martial Arts or MMA gambling world has so many great events like World Series of Fighting 8 that I am constantly trying to make you aware of and hopefully advise you the correct MMA odds to place your sports bets on.

There are many great MMA fights on this fight card including the Anthony Johnson vs Mike Kyle that is a hugely anticipated fight postponed a pair of times due to injuries that is ON!

Justin Gaethje ( 10 - 0 - 0 ) vs Richard Patishnock ( 6 – 1 - 0 )

This fight should end in a fairly spectacular knockout with the undefeated Justin Gaethje on a rampage stopping his opponents short of the final bell in his last 6 consecutive fights. He had one submission and 5 knockouts or TKO finishes, and only 1 of his last 6 fights made it to the 3rd round before he ended his challenger.

Gaethje’s last win was by TKO in the 2nd round over Dany Lauzon at the World Series of Fighting 6 in October of 2013, and before that he stopped Brian Cobb in June 2013 by another TKO in the World Series of Fighting 3.

Richard Patishnock is coming off 2 consecutive wins over Gregor Gracie by unanimous decision in September 2013 at World Series of Fighting 5 and Igor Gracie 6 months earlier at the WSOF 2 back in March.

It was a year before WSOF 2 that he lost a brutal match to Tenyeh Dixon getting Knocked Out in the 1st round at Xtreme Caged Combat – Relentless, and when Patishnock wins a fight it is usually by a decision which this fight won’t make it to if you get my MMA gambling hint here.

The main event will be scheduled for 5 rounds of 5 minutes, but there is no chance it makes it past 3 and is probably done in the initial 2 rounds. The knockout power of Justin Gaethje will prove too much for the more passive Richard Patishnock.

Anthony RUMBLE Johnson ( 15 – 5 – 0 ) vs Mike MAK Kyle ( 18 – 11 – 1 )

This will be a decent warm up for the main event with Ultimate Fighting Championships fighter Anthony Johnson coming off a unanimous decision against Andrei Arlovski in his last fight at World Series of Fighting 2 in March 2013. The reason this is really interesting is that Mike Kyle’s last fight was also against Andrei Arlovski, but he lost a unanimous decision at World Series of Fighting 5 in September of 2013.

Johnson has 6 wins in a row and 8 of his last 9 fights, and he has teetered between winning by TKO and unanimous decisions over that time. The last time he lost a fight was against the extremely dangerous Vitor Belfort at UFC 142 – Aldo vs Mendes 2 years and 4 days to the date of the World Series of Fighting 8 fight card.

I think Johnson has the class of this race and will stay patient enough in this 3 round match versus Mike Kyle. I know that Kyle is a much bigger man, but I believe this goes to class and technique in a fight that I believe Johnson takes by unanimous decision.

Jessica Aguilar ( 16 – 4 – 0 ) vs Alida Yvette Gray ( 4 – 0 – 0 )

This will be a 5 round fight for the ladies, and although Jessica Aguilar is used to going the distance in defeating her opponents, I doubt this makes it 2 more rounds than she has ever gone especially with Alida Yvette Gray ending all of her fights early.

Gray will definitely press the pace, and if Aguilar tries to slow roll this one could end up being knocked out early. I believe the opposite will happen with Jessica Aguilar playing a smarter fight and wearing her opponent down. It may take until the 3rd or 4th round, but I believe Aguilar will win by submission over Alida Yvette Gray in a power packed catfight.
