Bellator 182 Preview and Predictions

Bellator 182 Picks

Andrey Koreshkov takes on Chidi Njokuani in the feature fight at Bellator 182 on Friday, August 25 on Spike TV. This event at Turning Stone Resort & Casino in Verona, New York has four fights on the main card on Spike TV, as in addition to Koreshkov vs. Njokuani, it is Brennan Ward vs. Fernando Gonzalez, A.J. McKee vs. Blair Tugman and Bruna Ellen vs. Veta Arteaga. Let’s look at the event with a focus on Koreshkov vs. Njokuani and Bellator predictions.

Bet Bellator 182

Andrey Koreshkov vs. Chidi Njokuani

Koreshkov is 19-2 in his career and he has won six of his last seven but he did lose last time out against Douglas Lima. He will be trying to get back into title contention with a win over Njokuani who is 17-4-1 in his career. Njokuani has won his last seven fights including a good win against Melvin Guillard in January. Njokuani has not lost since 2013.

Koreshkov said that his loss against Lima was because of a lapse in concentration.

“I got way too creative inside the cage. I stepped away from the game plan that we had.” Koreshkov said to Sherdog. “Before that, I was winning the whole fight because I was sticking to the game plan. Then I got over excited and I tried to finish him. That was not part of the plan. That’s exactly where I missed a punch that I didn’t see and it cost me.”

Bellator Predictions

This fight should be very entertaining with each looking for the knockout. Koreshkov is always looking for a quick knockout but it won’t be easy against Njokuani who is very difficult to finish. I think this fight is a toss-up and I expect to get a nice price on Njokuani so I will take him to win this fight. Make sure to compare odds at multiple sportsbooks to get the best odds.
