The event is being fought in Newcastle, England for those British fight fans to enjoy in person while the rest of us simply bet MMA odds and watch the Telly as you call it.
Neil Seery ( 13 – 9 - 0 ) vs Ulysses Gomez ( 9 – 4 - 0 )
The CWFC flyweight title is on the line in this headliner bout between Neil Seery and Ulysses Gomez in dreary old England. Neil Seery is the Cage Warriors Flyweight Champion and will make his 1st title defense against no easy match with Ulysses Gomez, who is bringing his many UFC fights experience to this fight.
Gomez had a pair of fights in the Ultimate Fighting Championships club and needs to improve on those 2 losses he had. He was beat by decision versus Phil Harris and got knocked out by John Moraga in those fights.
Seery won this vacant title by a 3rd round submission over Mikael Silander in CWFC 55 and is currently on a 4 fight win streak. I think Seery may find out that UFC experience pays off when Ulysses Gomez takes the belt by knockout in this fight.
Wesley Murch ( 13 – 6 – 0 ) vs Curt Warburton ( 12 – 4 – 0 )
This should be great bringing in Curt Warburton for his 1st fight in the QWFC after putting pen to paper on a 5 fight exclusive deal with Cage Warriors. The 32 year old was in the Ultimate Fighting Championships for 3 fights before this battle against Wesley Murch, who will also be in his first QWFC fight after signing a 5 fight deal as his opponent did.
Warburton is also the 4th ranked fighter in the UK rankings and claims to like the fact he is fighting another bad ass on a roll that won’t last. He said, “Wesley is on a bit of a win streak at the moment,” adding “but that will end in Newcastle on December 7.”
Wesley Murch is on a nice win streak with 4, and if he wins the fight it won’t be going to the judges because that has only happened one time in all his wins. Murch says that beating Warburton will show that he is one of the best fighters in Europe, but I’m not so sure he gets past this one.
Chris Fishgold ( 9 – 0 – 0 ) vs Olivier Pastor ( 18 – 14 – 0 )
When he steps into the cage, the 21 year old Chris Fishgold will have an extreme test of his skills even though the record of Olivier Pastor may fool you. The Englishman Fishgold may be unbeaten in 9 fights, but he is facing a French veteran that will give him everything he can handle in this featherweight fight.
Jordan Desborough ( 7 – 3 – 0 ) vs Cory Tait ( 7 – 2 – 0 )
Another English fighter John Desborough is 21 years of age and coming off a split decision loss to Brett Johns for the CWFC bantamweight title and is trying to bounce back against Cory Tait who brings a solid reputation with him.
Tait is another Mixed Martial Arts fighter or MMA that signed on with CWFC in an exclusive contract which they seem to be doing with many of these great fighters to lock them in.
The MMA gambling odds are up daily and weekly for your wagering convenience, and the CWFC 62 Mixed Martial Event is even from London for a worldly sports betting availability.
