College Football Odds - Big 12 College Football Roundup Week 4

NCAA Football Week 4 Predictions

The Big 12 Conference continues to sputter against other conferences in big-time, statement games. In week three, Kansas State loses at Vanderbilt, Texas takes it on the chin to USC and Baylor remains winless on the year by getting thumped at Duke. Kansas also lost, which to many, isn’t a surprise.

On the bright side, Oklahoma State, Oklahoma and TCU all remained undefeated with impressive wins. Iowa State, West Virginia and Texas Tech all were victorious.

It’s early, but so far, the conference looks very average with a couple of teams that will have a chance to run the table.

Conference play begins this week, highlighted with a huge game in Stillwater when Oklahoma State hosts TCU in a must win for both. Let’s take a look at all the games.

BIG 12 GAME OF THE WEEK

Saturday, September 23, 2017TCU Horned Frogs +11 at Oklahoma State Cowboys -11, Total 67Boone Pickens Stadium, Stillwater, Oklahoma - 3:30 p.m., ET - ESPN

College football is different than the NFL - you lose a game in college and your hopes of winning it all are pretty much washed up. This game is just that - whoever loses - their hopes of chasing down the BCS trophy are over. Mason Rudolph is the best quarterback in the country. He has the size, the elusiveness and a cannon for an arm. Playing at home, the Cowboys will score at will, putting up close to 50 in this one. Oklahoma State cruises, 48 - 28.

All-time series record: Oklahoma State 15-10-2

Other week 4 Big 12 games:

Saturday, September 23, 2017

Oklahoma Sooners -26 at Baylor Bears +26, Total 62.5

McLane Stadium, Waco, Texas - 6:30 p.m., ET - FS1

This game won’t even be close! Baylor lost to Liberty, UTSA and Duke to start the year and now face a hungry, undefeated Oklahoma squad. Baker Mayfield will pass for five touchdowns and the Sooners much improved defense will shut down the beleaguered Bears offense. Sooners remain flawless and roll to a convincing, 55 - 14 win.

All-time series record: Oklahoma 23-3-0

West Virginia Mountaineers -21 at Kansas Jayhawks +21, Total 67.5

Memorial Stadium, Lawrence, Kansas - Noon, ET - FS2

Kansas had high hopes entering the season, but back-to-back losses to MAC teams foiled their hopes. They are once again the doormats of the conference and now face a high-powered Mountaineer team that can put points on the board in a hurry. Will Grier will pass for 350 yards, five touchdowns and West Virginia will flatten the Jayhawks, 49 - 21.

All-time series record: West Virginia 5-1-0

Texas Tech Red Raiders +6 at Houston Cougars -6, Total 71.5

TDECU Stadium, Houston, Texas - Noon, ET - ESPN2

This game has a lot of intrigue to it. Both teams are undefeated and this is a huge game for recruiting purposes. Houston is playing for their city after the devastating floods a month ago and have a great defense that can play with anybody. The Cougars will shut down the high octane Red Raiders offense and win a highly contested game that will stay well UNDER the game total.

All-time series record: Houston 18-11-1
