Bet the Atlanta Hawks at BookMaker.eu
The Hawks are smoking red hot on the hardwood right now, and we’ve been the beneficiaries over the course of the streak. Though my suggestion to take them plus the points at home against San Antonio came up short, I still came away impressed with the team’s ability to give the Spurs all they could ask for and more until the game’s final buzzer. Atlanta enters this tilt having gone 7-3 against the closing NBA odds in its L/10 games, and stands 1.5 points and an overtime session against Chicago from covering each of its L/5 at home.
Brooklyn has been one of the bigger surprises in the league this season, but its deficiencies at the defensive end of the court have prevented from talking that one giant leap forward. The Nets have managed just one cover in their L/5 games with the defense giving up 118.0 points per game. I expect Trae Young and company to take full advantage and come out the victor.
Bet the Boston Celtics at BookMaker.eu
I’m expecting this rematch between the Celtics and Lakers to play out to nothing short but a blood bath. LA’s playoff hopes are fading with every passing game, while Boston looks to currently be on the war path since dropping four straight at the end of February. Since then, the Celtics have won three of four games and covered those matchups at a 2-1-1 ATS clip. The most recent came at Sacramento without Kyrie Irving. To defeat the Kings 111-109 and push the closing NBA odds was still respectful considering how well Big Sac has played in its own arena all season.
The Lakers won a back forth affair in Beantown at the beginning of February 129-128. I’d be shocked if the team came close to that offensive output this time around with Kyle Kuzma and Brandon Ingram both ailing. Each might not be able to go in the rematch. If that’s the case, not even LeBron James will be able to keep the Lakers in the game against a determined bunch of Celtics looking to even the season series. Boston’s been awful in the road chalk role recently in managing just a pair of covers with two pushes over the L/10 instances. That said, I expect them to be 100 percent locked into the task at hand and come out of the Staples Center with a one-sided win on Saturday night.
Bet the Phoenix Suns at BookMaker.eu
I’m interested to see what the Trail Blazers will have in the tank for this one. Portland just returned home from a daunting seven-game road trip that picked up right after the All-Star break. Though they dominated it in going 6-1 SU & ATS, they returned home for a crucial clash with the division rival Oklahoma City Thunder whom they sat tied with in the Northwest Division standings leading up to the game. With so much energy put into that matchup, it remains to be seen exactly how serious they take the wretched Suns before hitting the road for the Clippers next week.
As bad as the Suns have been in the W/L column managing just 15 wins through 66 overall games, the team is currently on a heater right now having gone 4-1 SU & ATS at offshore sportsbooks the L/5 times they took to the hardwood. Included in the mix were outright wins and covers at Miami and at home against Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks. The fact that it’s had no luck in the season rivalry with the Blazers leads me to believe it will be the more determined of the two teams on Saturday night. Why would Portland give a darn about a team it’s throttled by an average of 18.0 points per game this season? The Suns will be getting an ample amount of points from linemakers in these teams final meeting of the season, and I’ll be looking to put as many of them in my back pocket as possible.
