Nuggets vs. Warriors TV Coverage: ESPN
Denver will look to close their current three-game road trip on a high after splitting the first two games falling in San Antonio 104-103 but following it up with a 115-99 smashing of LeBron James and the Lakers two days later. Both games were covered against the closing NBA odds. The win and cover in Los Angeles moved the Nuggets to 16-15 SU & 13-18 ATS when playing away from the Pepsi Center. The under cashed at a 19-11-1 clip in those matchups and is currently in the midst of a 7-0 run.
Golden State has procured a 3-4 record and ugly 1-6 mark against the NBA betting lines since returning from the All-Star break. Last time out, Steve Kerr’s troops lost an ugly 128-95 decision to the Boston Celtics in a game both Klay Thompson and Shaun Livingston were forced to miss. It remains to be seen if either will be back in the starting lineup for this one. It’s been a rough go for Dubs supporters this season with the team going a bankroll depleting 25-38-1 ATS overall and 11-20-1 ATS when playing in front of the hometown faithful. The under has cashed in five of the last six.
112.4 – This is the average of both team’s offensive efficiencies. Golden State possesses the most efficient offensive attack in the league with it averaging 1.14 points per possession. Denver isn’t far behind at No. 5 with an average of 1.10 points per possession. With that, it’s pretty safe to assume both units will have success at the offensive end of the floor regardless of the fact that both teams rank out amongst the top-15 in defensive efficiency.
Matchup to Watch
Both teams’ superstars rose to the occasion in each club’s respective wins against one another this season. Nikola Jokic went for 23 points and 11 rebounds to go along with 6 assists in Denver’s 100-98 win as 4.5-point home dogs way back on October 21. Steph Curry, Thompson and Kevin Durant combined for 89 of the Warriors 142 points in the rematch in the middle of January to easily lead Golden State to the 31-point win and cover as 2-point favorites. With that, the success of either of these teams in the third go round will greatly hinge upon which of these team’s studs takes their respective games to the next level.
Bet Nuggets vs. Warriors at BookMaker.eu
This has been a very competitive rivalry the last eight times these Western Conference heavyweights crossed paths on the hardwood. Each team has tallied four wins during that stretch, but Denver has come out the pointspread victor at online sportsbooks five times. On top of that, the Nuggs have gone into Oracle and come out winners for NBA bettors seven of the last nine times with the most recent coming in at a push. It’s never fun fading the Warriors because they can make you look absolutely silly if they decide to bring their “A” game to the gym.
That said, Golden State has amassed a grand total of one pointspread cover in its last 11 tries, and this game has a ton riding on it. Denver has gone 3-2 ATS the last five times it was installed a road underdog with four of them playing to low scorers. With that, look for Jokic and company to be competitive throughout and for the game to play to an under at the best sportsbooks.
