Rhode Island vs. VCU ( -7.5, 130 ) – 12 PM ET NBCSN

Though Rhode Island and VCU played to a pair of low scorers in the regular season, the betting markets initial move on the total has been to bump it up from the opener of 130 to where it currently sits at 131.5. This will be RI’s second game in as many days while VCU will be hitting the Barclays Center hardwood for the first time after winning the Atlantic 10 to earn the conference’s top seed. The Rams just finished playing to a low scorer versus La Salle to halt its three-game over streak at three, while VCU closed the regular season cashing under tickets in three straight by limiting its opponents to just 46.0 points per game.

George Mason vs. St. Bonaventure ( -3, 128 ) – 2:30 PM ET NBCSN

The Patriots advanced to the quarterfinal round by way of getting by a very bad George Washington team by a 61-57 final count but drastically failed to cover the closing 8.5-point spread. The fact that it just barely surpassed to 60-point plateau hasn’t stopped the betting public from firing on the over with reckless abandon. It’s already up to 129.5 from the 128 opener even though 60 percent of the tickets written are in support of the under. The totals in the two regular season meetings closed 136.5 and 134 so it’s likely college basketball bettors are playing the line value with both games going on to average 128 points.

Nebraska vs. Wisconsin ( -6.5, 126 ) – 2:55 PM ET Big Ten Network

The Nebraska Cornhuskers were one of those teams that needed to win their conference tournament to have any shot of lacing up their dancing shoes. So far so good for Tim Miles’ kids who’ve already snared wins against both Rutgers and Maryland to reach the quarters of the B1G Tourney. The betting markets believe their Cinderella run comes to a crashing halt in this one against No. 4 seed Wisconsin with the Badgers up to 7.5-point favorites to advance to the semis after opening -6.5. A whopping 79 percent of the tickets have faded the Huskers who lost by 11 at home in the team’s lone regular season matchup.

Central Michigan vs. Buffalo ( -11.5, 165.5 ) – 9 PM ET ESPN2

It’s highly likely the Chippewas have tired legs for this one after advancing to the semis by defeating Western Michigan and Kent State the first two days of the MAC Tournament. It comes to reason the total has been bet down because of it with the number to beat now 164 from the 165.5 opener with 60 percent of the ticket handle in support of a low scorer. Buffalo scored the 90-76 win and non-cover at betting sites against Central Michigan in the regular season but has still been bet up to 12-point chalk. The 166 combined points went under the 170-point closing total to snap a string of four straight overs in the recent rivalry.

Florida State vs. Virginia ( -9, 126.5 ) – 7 PM ET ESPN

The betting line hasn’t budged for the semifinal matchup between the No. 4 seed Seminoles and top seed Cavaliers, but there has been some movement on the total in early wagering. It initially opened at 126.5 but can be had at 125.5 with 87 percent of the bets taken expecting points to be tough to come by. This matchup pits two of the best efficiency defenses in the country up against one another with FSU checking in at No. 11 and Virginia No. 2 per the current Pomeroy Ratings. The lone regular season meeting saw the total close at 130 with the Cavs going on to win by a 65-52 final count extending the team’s under streak to seven in a row with an average of 112.3 points per game hitting the board.

San Diego State vs. Nevada ( -10.5, 142.5 ) – 9 PM ET CBSSN

Though the betting line hasn’t moved from the 10.5-point opener, the Wolf Pack are still getting the early attention from the betting markets with -115 juice attached to them. The total is another story however with it down a full point to 141.5 with 65 percent of the early wagering action at online sportsbooks in support of the move. These teams played to a pair of low scorers in the regular season. The Aztecs logged the 65-57 outright win and cover as 8-point home dogs in a game that never threatened the 146.5-point closing total. Nevada cruised in the rematch trouncing SDST 81-53 in another low scorer that came in well under the 146-point total. The under has cashed in five of the teams L/6 overall meetings.
