Weekend Sports Betting Schedule May 23-24
Weekend Sports Betting Schedule for the weekend of May 23-24. Sports betting odds at the online sportsbook.

It’s looking more and more like the NBA will return to the hardwood at some point in July. Though the re-start date is yet to be finalized, it’s looking like NBA bettors will once again get the opportunity to wager on LeBron James, Russell Westbrook and Giannis Antetokounmpo in the very near future. Whether it’s in the regular season or postseason play remains to be determined. The Triple Crown has also been set; The Kentucky Derby’s “Run for the Roses” is scheduled for September 5 and will serve as the middle leg of the trifecta with the Belmont Stakes kicking things off for the first time ever on June 20. Wrapping it all up will be the Preakness Stake which is set to run on October 3. Slowly but surely, organized sports are returning to the fold in this new normal. Here’s a look at what’s going down at online sportsbooks through the weekend of May 23-24.

The betting slate is now loaded with European soccer betting odds. The Bundesliga betting odds were bet into heavily last weekend with the infamous soccer league returning to the pitch after a long layoff. Five matchups are locked in for Saturday highlighted by the matchup between Bayern Munich and Eintracht Frankfurt with the former currently installed heavy -714 chalk to come out victorious. More goal prop offerings are also available with Serge Gnarby a -138 favorite to score more than Jadon Sancho and Robert Lewandowski a -155 chalk to outscore Erling Haaland. Three more tilts close the week out on Sunday. The Vysshaya and Pervaya Liga will also be in action with a total of 10 matchups set to go down on the pitch through the weekend.

One of the sports that has returned in full is NASCAR and they will be holding their third race in a week's time with the Coca-Cola 600 on Sunday in Charlotte. Kyle Busch is a slight favorite to win this race that can be seen on FOX, while Martin Truex Jr. is the second choice in the betting odds.  NASCAR will come right back with another race at Charlotte on Wednesday night.

Last week’s skins matchup between No. 1 Rory Mcllroy and former No. 1 Dustin Johnson against Rickie Fowler and Matthew Wolff proved to be an incredibly successful charity event that produced $4 million for coronavirus relief efforts. It was touted as the appetizer to this week’s main course set to go down at the Seminole Golf Club where the rich and famous and pros of the sport have honed their skills for over a century. Linemakers currently have the combo of Tiger Woods and Peyton Manning installed -185 favorites over Phil Mickelson and Tom Brady in what’s being dubbed as “The Match.” Place your bets and tune to TNT, TBS, truTV and HLN at 3 p.m. ET on Sunday to see how it all plays out!

No UFC this weekend, but boxing bettors will have a heavyweight title fight to sink their teeth into with Dereck Chisora set to step into the ring to face Oleksandr Usyk as a gargantuan +448 underdog. Should you be of the belief that Usyk comes out victorious like linemakers expect, you’ll have to lay a steep -685 price just to win $100. A bit steep for a fighter that’s only fought as a heavyweight once against an overmatched opponent. Take it all in live from the O2 Arena on DAZN and see if he can live up to expectations!

Another enormous betting slate awaits E-Sports bettors this weekend! Along with the copious amounts of E-Soccer events slated to go, CS:GO, DOTA2, League of Legends, Starcraft 2, Hearthstone, Call of Duty and Valorant also have a number of crucial matchups set to go down on both Saturday and Sunday. Big money will be on the line for the contestants, so do your homework then wager and watch it all go down live right from Bookmaker’s backend!

The Madden NFL20 “Blind Draw – Low Seed Home Field” Tournament will go on hiatus over the weekend to allow for exhibition play to take center stage. A whopping 16 games are set to play out throughout the weekend with eight apiece taking place each day. Tourney play returns Monday with futures odds available. The Los Angeles Chargers +250 remain the Blind Draw tourney favorites with the Rams +300, Cowboys +375, Packers +400 and Vikings +500 also in the mix. The Raiders +2000 are the lone surprise entrant. NBA2K20, MLB The Show 20 and NHL20 EA Sports will also be in action over the weekend. Keep an eye out for some possible FIFA20 and UFC3 sim betting to surface as well. Each and every one of these sport sims can be watched and wagered upon live on their respective family of streams at @PrimeTimeAction on Twitch.TV.
