A National League West rivalry game between the Los Angeles Dodgers and San Diego Padres on Sunday night on ESPN highlights MLB action on Sunday, May 7. That is the only night game on Sunday, as all of the other action is in the day. The games get started early with the Orioles at the Braves on NBC. MLB Network has the Astros at the Mariners in the afternoon and ESPN+ has the Rangers at the Angels. We’ll focus again this Sunday on three main picks for our MLB sides parlay and two picks for an MLB totals parlay, including the Sunday night game between the Dodgers and Padres on ESPN. Let’s look at Sunday, May 7th MLB Parlay picks.

Sunday MLB Parlay Picks
Minnesota Twins
One of the pitchers I like to back on a regular basis is Joe Ryan and he should be getting the start on Sunday against the Indians. Ryan comes into this game at 5-0 with a 2.37 ERA. The Indians are expected to go with Cal Quantrill on Sunday and he has been nothing special with a 1-2 record and a 4.73 ERA. I’ll back the Twins as the first team in the parlay.
Miami Marlins
Another one of my pitchers I like to back is Miami’s Sandy Alcantara. He struggled early in the season but he seems to be getting back on track after two good outings against the Braves where he went 10.2 innings and allowed just five runs. I am not sold on Hayden Wesneski for the Cubs. He is 2-1 with a 4.45 ERA. I’ll back the Marlins as the second team in the parlay.
Los Angeles Dodgers
The night game on ESPN has the Dodgers visiting the Padres with the probable pitching matchup having Julio Urias going against Blake Snell. I am not a fan of Snell as I think he is overrated and not worth anywhere near the money the Padres are paying him. Snell is 1-4 with a 5.28 ERA. Urias is 4-3 with a 3.86 ERA. I’ll take the Dodgers as the last team in the parlay.
MLB Totals Parlay
Red Sox-Phillies Over
One thing we know about the Red Sox is that they can score runs, as they are one of the highest scoring teams in the league so far this season. The Phillies also look more potent on offense with Bryce Harper back in the lineup. The probable pitching matchup on Sunday definitely seems one that will produce some runs. The Red Sox are set to go with Tanner Houck and he is 3-1 but his ERA is 5.34. The Phillies are going with Taijuan Walker and he has really been struggling, as he is 2-2 but his ERA is 6.91. Walker has been terrible lately and it doesn’t figure to get any better for him in this one against Boston. I’ll go over the total with the Red Sox and Phillies.
Dodgers-Padres Over
The Dodgers have been scoring a ton of runs lately and they should have more success on Sunday against Blake Snell who has an ERA of more than five. Urias hasn’t been anything special for the Dodgers, so the Padres should score some runs. This sounds like a big-time pitching matchup, but I think we see some runs, so I will go over the total as the second game in the totals parlay.
