Sunday MLB Parlay Picks
Minnesota Twins
The pitching matchup on Sunday should have Sonny Gray going against Patrick Corbin. It doesn’t matter to me who the Twins throw, as this is simply a play against Corbin. He is a go-against pitcher for me whenever he is on the mound. He comes into this game at 1-2 with a 6.30 ERA. He continues to struggle and there is no reason to expect he will turn the corner against a good Minnesota team. I’ll take Minnesota in this one.
Milwaukee Brewers
The Brewers send their ace Corbin Burnes to the mound on Sunday, while the Red Sox go with Brayan Bello. It has been rough for Bello so far, as he comes into this game with an 0-1 record and a 16.88 ERA. There is nothing to suggest he is going to get things going in the right direction in this one on the road. Burnes is 2-1 with a 4.76 ERA. I expect him to pitch really well at home in this one, so I will take Milwaukee.
Texas Rangers
The Rangers are expected to send Jacob deGrom to the mound on Sunday, while the A’s go with Kyle Muller. There is very little to like about Oakland regardless of who is on the mound. Muller is 0-1 with a 7.23 ERA. There is a slight concern about deGrom, as he had a wrist injury, but he says he is fine and is expected to make this start. If he is anywhere close to normal then this is a mismatch, so I will take the Rangers.
MLB Totals Parlay
Reds-Pirates Over
I am not a fan of either Hunter Green or Vince Velasquez and that is the matchup we get on Sunday in this game between the Reds and Pirates. Greene has yet to get a decision but his ERA is 4.24. The Reds are still thrilled with his overall stuff, but his results have not matched his talent level. Velasquez is lucky to still be in a rotation yet he has two wins. He is 2-2 with a 5.12 ERA. I’ll go over the total with the Reds and Pirates.
Marlins-Indians Under
We get an under the radar pitching matchup on Sunday, as Jesus Luzardo goes for the Marlins, while Peyton Battenfield goes for Cleveland. Luzardo has been really good for Miami with a 2-0 record and a 2.74 ERA. Battenfield looked great his last time out even though he took the loss. He is 0-1 with a 1.69 ERA. We went six innings and allowed just three hits and one run against Detroit but the Marlins couldn’t score and they lost 1-0. I’ll go under the total with Miami and Cleveland on Sunday.
