The Lady Gamecocks defeated Stanford 62-53 in the semis, while the Lady Bulldogs ended UConn's four-year streak as National Champions with a 66-64 upset in the Final Four, avenging a 98-38 loss in the 2016 semifinals. Connecticut is looking like the top contender yet again, currently undefeated and ranked No. 1 in the country. Mississippi State joins UConn in the Top 5, while annual challengers Baylor, Notre Dame, and Tennessee sit inside the Top 10.
