Chris "The Crippler" Leben is back on top after two consecutive wins. He knocked out Terry Martin in the third round in UFC Fight Night on September 19, 2007 and had a first round TKO against Alessio Sakara in UFC 82. The Crippler has an 18-4-0 MMA record. He is 28 years old; weighs 185 lbs. and stands at 5'11". Leben was born in Portland, Oregon and is now fighting out of Oahu, Hawaii. He has strong punching power and a great chin.
Bisping (16-1, 6-1 UFC) has dazzled since moving to middleweight in April. A native of Liverpool, England, the charismatic 29-year-old destroyed Canadian Jason Day at UFC 85 last month and has recovered nicely from his first career defeat, and a split decision loss to Rashad Evans in November. Bisping burst on the scene as a cast member on season three of “The Ultimate Fighter” and has been a key cog in the UFC’s expansion into Great Britain. Eleven of his 16 career wins have come by KO or TKO.
The UFC 89 in England, also has added three thrilling bouts to the organisation’s next UK super-show.
It has been confirmed that Rameau Sokoudjou will collide with Luiz Cane in a battle of light-heavyweight strikers, Japanese submission expert Akihiro Gono will take on on highly-regarded British debutant Dan Hardy and steel-fisted heavyweight Shane Carwin will exchange bombs with England’s own Neil Wain.

Here is an explanation of how the UFC odds or betting line work. When you bet on a UFC fight, you bet on a money line not a point spread like basketball for example. You only bet on the winner of the fight. Below is a typical mixed martial arts betting line you would see in a Vegas sportsbook.
Michael Bisping -200
Chris Leben +200
Two fighters are listed above. The fighter with the negative number next to his name (Michael Bisping -200) is always the favorite while the fighter with the positive figure is the underdog. For Michael Bisping, the negative figure is the amount of money you need to bet on this fighter in order to earn $100. The positive figure next to Fighter B on the other hand is the profit you would earn if the you bet $100 on that fighter. You’re not required bet $100 but you simply use that ratio given by the betting line to figure out the returns.
The UFC betting line is not static, meaning it can change at any time for a number of reasons. A lot of money coming in for a particular fighter for example will force the sports books to adjust his line. However unlike horse racing once you’ve place your bet, your odds or payout don’t change. You’re bet is secure no matter what.
