Jimmie Johnson seized the 2004 Coca-Cola 600 Nextel Cup Series win on May 30, and came back on October 16 to hold his win at the UAW-GM Quality 500 too!
Jimmie Johnson, winner of the UAW-DaimlerChrysler 400 and the 9-2 favorite of the sports bookies at Las Vegas before the race began just north of the strip.
The line on Johnson was a little surprising since he had never finished in the top five at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, but the Vegas oddsmakers obviously have figured out what most people in NASCAR already know, Johnson is a good pick to win every week.
Jimmie Johnson has dominated Nextel Cup competition since the end of last season. Here are Jimmie Johnson finishes in his last races:

Veteran Terry Labonte will run a limited schedule of ten races per year for the next two Cup Series seasons for Hendrick Motorsports before retiring after the 2006 season. Labonte made the announcement at a press conference Tuesday held at Hendrick Motorsports' headquarters in Charlotte.
Labonte will run ten selected races in each of the next two seasons driving a No. 44 Kellogg's entry, reuniting the two-time Cup Series champion with his original car number.
The 47-year-old Labonte won Cup Series titles in 1984 and 1996 and has won 22 career races. His last win came in the 2003 Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway.
Labonte is the latest veteran to move away from the sport, following the lead of Bill Elliott, who retired to run a limited schedule after the 2003 season. Rusty Wallace will retire following the 2005 season and
speculation has Mark Martin announcing his retirement after next season as well.
