The object of this online board game is to maximize your total score. The game ends once all 13 categories have been scored.
Objective of the Game
Attain the highest possible score by rolling the dice and completing your score card.
There are 13 different scoring boxes and the game does not end until all 13 are filled. Different boxes require different combinations of dice (see sample score sheet below) to get good scores. You must score once in each category -- which means that towards the end of the game you may have to settle for scoring zero in some categories. The score is determined by a different rule for each category; see the section on Scoring below.
Rolling the Dice
You have five dice, which you can roll. To start with, you roll one die to see who goes first. The player that rolls the highest number will go first. You roll all dice by clicking on the Roll button. After you roll all dice, you can either score the current roll, or re-roll any or all of the five dice.
Play:
The aim is to build the best possible poker hand (Hands are ranked as below). Each player in turn has up to three throws of the dice. After each throw they put aside any dice they wish to use for their hand, rolling the remainder. Players may stop after the first or second throw if they wish. The player with the highest ranking hand, after everyone has had a turn, wins.
Poker Dice
You start with five six-sided dice to roll three times to achieve the best value possible on each turn. There are 13 different scoring boxes and the game does not end until all 13 are filled. Different boxes require different combinations of dice (see sample score sheet below) to get good scores.
Each turn consists of 3 rolls of the dice. At the start of each turn, the user rolls all the dice. Prior to each subsequent roll the player may choose to keep or release any combination of dice. After the third roll, the player must score the set of dice in one of the scoring boxes. If you complete your combination before the third roll you may take your score without rolling again. To enter your score on the score sheet click on the combination and your score will automatically total.
