The Hollywood Casino 400 is about the time when the competition really starts to heat up, this race is run at the Kansas Speedway in Kansas City, and always draws some of the best nascar drivers in the world. Kansas Speedway is a world class motorsports facility that annually hosts national NASCAR events, which includes two NASCAR Sprint Cup Series events.

On June 2, 2001 the Kansas Speedway held the Winston West Kansas 100, its first race ever.
