The Preakness Stakes 136 is restricted to only 14 Preakness Stakes runners and will run on May 21 at Pimlico Race Track and is the second leg of the Triple Crown. All Preakness Stakes horses have had to qualify for the race from the various trials that take place all season. One of the runners in the field will almost certainly be the winner of the Kentucky Derby, that took place two weeks prior to this race.
