2007 PGA Winner & Information

Tiger Woods PGA 2007There was a different texture to this five-mile walk, an appearance of tension and conflict in Tiger Woods's midst as he stepped into the furnace of Southern Hills Country Club and tried to pass another milepost. As an old foe and a hot-tempered journeyman prodded him along the way, Woods pushed back during the 89th PGA Championship, throwing a roundhouse punch after an early birdie and holding off all challengers in the end. With a one-under-par 69 in the final round Sunday, Woods snared a two-shot victory over Woody Austin to claim his first major championship of the season and the 13th of his career.  When he tapped in for par, the 31-year-old Woods thrust his hands in the air, scaled the hill behind the green and walked into the scorer's room, where his wife, Elin, and daughter, Sam Alexis, were waiting for him.

US PGA Player Championship Golf Betting Tips

Generally sports fans have their favorite teams or players. Therefore, when sports bettors place a sports bet, it's a common thing to see that bet go on their favorite team or player. In team sports like baseball or football it's easier to justify bets being placed on favorite teams like the Yankees or the Patriots because they play as a unit, and no single person is solely responsible for the outcome of the game based on their own individual performance.

However, in a sport like golf, betting on your favorite golfers can be a very costly endeavor. Unlike team sports, in golf the outcome is entirely based on individual performance and the golfer is the one making the swings, even his caddie says something different the player is the one who makes the final decision.
