MLB Grand Salami Baseball Betting
Grand Salami Baseball Betting
Baseball is most definitely the national pastime. Especially come October, the nation watch teams in the MLB Baseball playoffs and at the end of it all, two teams will battle it out to become this years new crowned World Series champions.
Grand Salami: A grand salami is betting the over/under for total runs scored by all MLB teams in a day. If any one game goes unplayed, the wager is no action. If a game goes to extra innings, those innings are included in this bet. If you think there will be more runs scored then the posted number you bet over, and if you think there will be less runs scored then you bet the under. This term has also been loosely used by other sportsbooks to refer to the total amount of pucks scored in all of the National Hockey League games played in any given day. Similar to a game over/under, one may bet the ‘over’ or the ‘under’ for the ‘Grand Salami’.

2. All scheduled games must go at least 9 innings (8.5 if the home team is winning). If any scheduled game is cancelled or stopped before the completion of 8.5 innings, all wagers on the Baseball Grand Salami will be canceled.
3. No pitchers will be listed for the Grand Salami; all wagers will have action regardless of the starting pitchers.
Why bet the grand salami?
There are reasons to bet the grand salami in either baseball or hockey. This bet type is very interesting in that the bet considers all of the games played in one day. In baseball, if one feels that the majority of the games feature washed-out, high-era pitchers facing hard hitting teams, then betting the ‘over’ would be a good idea. Conversely, if the majority of the pitchers are aces facing ‘cold bats’, then the ‘under’ would be the way to go. In hockey, betting the grand salami is a little more difficult. During the playoffs, though, betting the ‘under’ in grand salami playoff games has proved profitable.
