Uncle Mo has emerged as the favorite after going undefeated as a two-year-old in 2010, has earned $1.26 million, and won the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile at Churchill Downs, by 4 ¼-lengths, and the Grade I Champagne at Belmont Park, by 4 ¾ lengths. He also won his August debut at Saratoga by 14 ¼ lengths. He was a strong competitor in Aqueduct’s Grade I, $750,000 Wood Memorial at 1 1/8 miles on April 9th, but faded at the end to finish third in the Wood Memorial (G1) for his final prep.
