Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets vs Fresno State Bulldogs
Spread: Georgia Tech -6
Over/Under Total: 54.5
By JR Valdez
This is going to be all kinds of ugly for Fresno State I don’t think they have faced a defense the likes of Georgia Tech this year and they may get caught off guard when they start to experience difficulty which induces frustration which leads to and so on and so forth you get the picture. The only thing that counters that is that Georgia Tech is not what you would call spectacular on offense they don’t score very much and their main weapon senior RB Tashard Choice is only average. These combined elements tell me that Fresno can keep it close because GT won’t pull away unless there are multiple turnovers. The -6 is a lot in a game like this because I doubt their will be much scoring I like Fresno plus the 6 and under the 54.5 that is waaay too high. More BCS Bowl Picks Click Here!

Humanitarian (MPC) Bowl The Humanitarian Bowl is a post-season NCAA-sanctioned Division I-A college football bowl game that has been played annually at 30,000-seat Bronco Stadium on the campus of Boise State University in Boise, Idaho, since 1997. In 2003, the game will start matching teams from the Atlantic Coast Conference with teams from the Western Athletic Conference.
This game was established in 1997 as a contest between the Big West champion, if available, and an at-large team. It first was sponsored by the World Humanitarian Sports Hall of Fame. Crucial sponsored the game from 1999 through the January 2004 game. The December 2004 game was sponsored by MPC Computers.
Bronco Stadium is the home of Boise State University football and the annual Humanitarian Bowl, held each December. Bronco Stadium is also home to the only blue Astroplay surface in the United States.
The stadium was expanded to 30,000 seats prior to the start of the 1997 football season. The two-year expansion project raised the seating total from 22,600 to 30,000 seats. Included in the $10 million project is additional seating in the southwest and southeast corners, construction of the Allen Noble Hall of Fame Gallery and completion of the Larry and Marianne Williams Plaza. The Astroplay id state of the art synthetic playing surface. The third 'blue' field in the stadiums history, the Astroplay field is made of fibrillated polyethylene fibers which gives it a grass like appearance. Boise State replaced the blue Astro Turf with blue Astroplay in 2002 to reduce injuries and present a higher quality playing surface. The turf has a 100% rubber infill which provides a safer playing surface.
Originally constructed with 14,500 seats at a cost of $2.2 million in 1970, Bronco Stadium has undergone two expansions since then. In 1974, the east side upper deck was added, increasing the seating capacity to 20,000. Portable end zone seating had the capacity of Bronco Stadium at 22,600 through the 1996 season. At that point, the most recent expansion took place, raising the current capacity to 30,000. With the original cost, and the two subsequent expansions, the total cost of Bronco Stadium is estimated at over $13.54 million.
