Andre Berto vs Shane Mosley

The last time Mosley, at the ripe age of 38, entered the ring, was when he knocked out Antonio Margarito 11 months ago to win a 147-pound title for the second time in an upset. Now, Shane Mosley will fight Andre Berto, the 26-year-old WBC welterweight champion, on Jan. 30 at The Mandalay Bay Hotel in Las Vegas. The 12-round bout will air live on HBO's World Championship Boxing and will determine once and for all the King of the 147-pound weight class.

Sugar Shane Mosley (46-5, 39 KO's) has five world titles to his name and has ruled the lightweight, welterweight and junior middleweight divisions over his storied 16-year career. However, at 38 years old, the Pomona, Calif. native seems to be getting better and better as the years pass. Winner of seven of his last eight fights dating back to 2005, Mosley has defeated the likes of Fernando Vargas (twice), Luis Collazo and Ricardo Mayorga, but his most recent victory also was one of his most spectacular a ninth round stoppage of Antonio Margarito in January 2009 to win the Welterweight World Title for the third time.

Andre Berto is the World Boxing Council Welterweight World Champion and maintains a perfect 26-0 record as a professional. An accomplished amateur with numerous national titles, Berto represented Haiti in the 2004 Olympic Games. A Haitian-American, Berto comes from a fighting family. His father, Dieusuel competed as an Ultimate Fighter before a devastating car crash ended his career and brother Edson and sister Revelina are professional MMA fighters.
