Pittsburgh
This is a tough matchup to call Jacksonville looks like the stronger team, but its rough playing in Pittsburgh. Not sure what the weather forecasts for Saturday, but in any even I would expect a run game strategy from both teams. Willie Parker is still hurt which means the brunt of the carries will go to Najeh Davenport who was very successful in the begining of the season. Fred Taylor who must be nearing 40 by now has been a pleasent surprise this season and filled in for Maurice Jones-Drew who at times was very disappointing. David Garrard is averaging 208 passing yards a game this year, but I think he gets a little frustrated this week, the Pittsburgh secondary is no joke and they are going to keep the pass game to a minimum as long as he doesn’t turn the ball over then Garrard who is probably one of the most underrated QB’s in the league and its not always about stats but about getting the job done which he has been doing all year and nearly beat out Indy, but fell by only 3 points when the Colts were 7.5 points favorites. With Willie Parker hurt I think the Steeelers offense may be a little out of rythem and they had no time to find it last week and everyone sat. The play is the Jags -1.5 thats nothing. Oh and I like the over 38.5 points. More Picks Click Here!

Saturday January 5, 2008.
Jacksonville Jaguars at Pittsburgh Steelers 31-29, Jacksonville
The Jags stunned the Steelers at home with an overpowering 18 point lead going into the 4th quarter when the Jags defense let up and allowed Big Ben and Co. to stage a late game comeback in which they took the lead by 1 point, but it was all to no avail as David Garrard lead a valient drive down to the red zone with 37 seconds left in play and Josh Scobee sealed the deal with a field goal to end any dreams Pittsburgh had of advancing in the playoffs.

Tennessee Titans Vs. San Diego Chargers Betting Picks
Tennessee
San Diego -9 41
This could be a blow out!!! Tennessee did not look very good against Jim Sorgie and the backup guys in Indy so I don’t feel good about them at San Diego with LT running the ball. I mean if Tennessee had a more reliable pass game I would feel different, but the fact is that when you mix a shaky pass game with an overweight unreliable Lendale White and throw in a tempermental Vince Young, stir it all up and then throw it in the pan with the San Diego Defense and I think you will find that it turns into all kinds of ugly. Norv Turner has stopped his campaign to destroy the Chargers and finally let LT do what he does,(score touchdowns). Phillip Rivers is complementing the offense by not turning the ball over and finding his WR’s in the clutch. Tennessee barely made it in by the hair on their chinny chin chins and that was against the Indy backup guys, Vince Young left the game early and they gave us nothing to get excitied about the play is the Chargers, this is going to be a blowout San Diego wins by 20!!! Tennessee Titans Vs. San Diego Chargers Winner
Final Score: Chargers 17, Tennessee 6.
Sunday, January 6, 2008
Tennessee Titans at San Diego Chargers, 6-17 Chargers
It was all defense and sloppy offense in the 1st half with the Titans ahead 6-0. Neither team could get anything going and Norv Turner's future was at stake, in the 2nd half the Chargers started getting into a rythem while their defense kept Vince Young and the Titans out of theirs. Phillip Rivers led a brillant drive down the field in the 3rd quarter and found Vincent Jackson in the endzone for a 25 yard TD. LT also added his own TD in teh 4th when he went airborn from the 1 yard line over the pile and finally after a second effort found the endzone. It was the first post season win for San Diego in 13 years and opened the door to really prove themselves and travel to play the defending champs in Indy.
