The Fight that is being Called “The Big Challenge”, will offer a exciting title fight between Former cruiserweight champion Tomasz Adamek, the IBF International Heavyweight and NABO Heavyweight Champion, (41-1, 27 KO’s), will now take on Michael Grant (46-3, 34 KO’s) on Aug. 21 at the Prudential Center in his fourth fight at heavyweight.

Tomasz Ademek is one of the toughest fighters in the boxing world today. Adamek turned professional back in 1999, winning titles in the light heavyweight division and cruiserweight division over fighters such as Paul “Firepower” Briggs and Steve Cunningham in the cruiserweight division. Adamek has in his short stint in the heavyweight division ran through opponents in his quest to challenge the elite heavyweights.

Adamek debuted as a heavyweight with October's fifth-round knockout of former world heavyweight title contender, Andrew Golota (41-8-1, 33 KOs), whom Adamek dropped in the first, and, fifth rounds, despite being out-weighed, 214-to-256.

After beating Chris Arreola in a slugfest in his last outing, Adamek had hoped to get a title shot against David Haye or either of the Klitschko brothers, Wladimir or Vitali.

Michael Grant, who is continuing on the comeback trail after being severely knocked out by Dominick Guinn back in 2003. Grant scored a first-round knockout against Kevin Burnett on May 7 in his last fight. Grant has defeated fighters such as Corey Sanders, Al Cole, Lou Savarese, and Andrew Golota en route to his title shot against Lennox Lewis.

In the heavyweight title fight against Lewis, Grant was knocked out by Lewis with a devastating uppercut in the second round, handing Grant the first loss of his career.

Grant (46-3, 34 KO's) is, by far, the biggest opponent Adamek (41-1, 27 KO’s) has ever faced as he continues his quest to add the World Heavyweight Championship to his World Light Heavyweight and World Cruiserweight titles. A former IBC/NABF champ, Grant has been on an 8 bout winning streak since 2003 when he was bested by then undefeated Dominick Guinn.

On the first round, Grant threw his right hand against Adamek. Adamek lands left hood to the body and another big left hood to the jaw. On the final round Grant hurt Adamek but Adamek tried to hang himself and went back to boxing. Grant throws 3-punch combination to the body. The fight Adamek VS Grant ended with a score of 117-111, 118-110 and 118-111.
