2011 PGA Championship Results

Keegan Bradley won his first major golf tournament in 2011, the PGA Championship in a playoff over Jason Dufner.

Bradley had an improbable victory even late into Sunday as he found himself down five shots to Dufner following a triple bogey on hole No. 15 after chipping a shot into the water. Bradley used it as motivation, playing the next three regulation holes of the Atlanta Athletic Club at two-under-par.

However, he needed some help. And Jason Dufner provided just that. Dufner began to fall apart down the stretch, bogeying three of the next four holes while Bradley hit birdies on 17 and 18 to force the playoff, with both golfers at -8 overall. From there, Bradley continued his strong play and Dufner continued to struggle. Bradley won the playoff by one shot.

2010 PGA Championship Results

On a windy, wild Sunday that ended a wacky week played out above the shores of Lake Michigan, Martin Kaymer won a two-man playoff to win the PGA Championship.

Dustin Johnson, however, will be the lasting story of the final major of the season.

As Kaymer and Bubba Watson began a three-hole playoff on the 10th hole at Whistling Straits after finishing at 11-under-par 277, Johnson was speaking to news reporters after being assessed a two-stroke penalty for grounding his club (pressing the club to the ground) in a bunker on the final hole as he tried to protect a one-stroke lead.
