Japan Grand Prix F1 Betting

Date: Sunday 7th October 2012

Time: 15:00 (UK time: 7:00)

Location: Suzuka Mie Prefecture

Australian Grand Prix Betting OddsThe next Japan Grand Prix is scheduled to be held at Suzuka on October 7th, 2012. Suzuka Circuit is a race circuit in Mie Prefecture, 50 kilometers south of Nagoya, and one of the two venues, which staged the Formula One Japanese Grand Prix in recent years. The other is Fuji Speedway in Shizuoka Prefecture. The 2012 Japanese Grand Prix will be staged at the Japan's Suzuka circuit which is a huge test of F1 drivers abilities and is one of the best tracks used on the Grand Prix Betting circuit. It has been a fixture on the calendar for many years now and is still as popular as ever with F1 betting fans and top Formula One drivers.

Japanese Grand Prix Betting

Suzuka is one of the oldest remaining tracks of the Formula One World Championship, and so has a long history of races as venue of the Japanese Grand Prix. Its traditional role as one of the last Grands Prix of the season means numerous World Championships have been decided at the track.

2010 Grand Prix of Australia WinnerJapan Grand Prix betting odds will reward the drivers who are a little braver than their opponents in terms of braking the latest to hold their advantage or to overtake an opponent. Many F1 drivers have found the Japanese Grand Prix the most mentally challenging of all. The track has a series of complex turns and corners with very little room for error and drivers must keep their concentration for much longer periods of time. This also makes the Suzuka racecourse one of the most physically demanding. The first sector at Suzuka is arguably the most difficult part of the race because the series of corners is quite complex. There are five subtle bends straight away after the second corner of the race. The reason is, these five bends can cause a car to spin out of control and crash if the setup is not absolutely perfect. This can be incredibly frustrating to drivers who have focused hard and put a lot of effort into doing a decent qualifying time.

Japanese Formula One betting is very popular with BookMaker Sportsbook has put up a number of F1 betting odds which include winning driver odds Pole position, top 3 F1 driver lines and winning team.

Suzuka Circuit Formula One

2011 Australian Grand Prix WinnerSuzuka Circuit is 50 kilometres south west of Nagoya, Japan's third largest city. The track is owned by Honda, having originally been built in 1962 as a test track for its road cars and motorbikes. In recent years there have been an increasing number of Japanese sponsors in Formula One racing, and with them has come a surge in interest within Japan. The circuit can be used in three configurations; the full circuit, the "Suzuka East" and "Suzuka West" configuration. The "East" portion of the course consists of the pit straight to the first half of the Dunlop curve (turn 7), before leading back to the pit straight via a tight right-hander. The "West" course is made up of the other part of the full circuit, with the pitlane located at the straight before the 130R corner.

The first formula one race in Japan was staged in 1976 at the Fuji Speedway. From 1987 to 2006, the Japan Grand Prix was held annually at the Suzuka Circuit, before moving back to its original venue at Fuji Speedway in 2007. From 2008, the grand prix was planned to be held alternately at the Fuji Speedway and Suzuka circuits, but Fuji Speedway withdrew as host in 2009. shortly after, Suzuka signed a deal to host the Japanese Grand Prix in 2009, 2010 and 2011.

In 2010, Vettel won the war, beating Webber home for the third race in a row to move within 14 points of him in the drivers' championship.
