OAK @ KC Arrowhead Stadium 1:00 PM CBS

The Chiefs (6-8, 8-6 ATS) did the unthinkable last week by handing the Green Bay Packers their first loss as double-digit NFL betting underdogs, but we feel that will work against the Chiefs this week when they host the Raiders (7-7, 8-5-1 ATS) at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, MO on Saturday, December 24th in a game televised regionally on CBS at 1:00 ET.

Yes, Kansas City is still mathematically alive to win the division, but too much needs to happen for it to be a realistic chance and the Chiefs basically admitted as much when firing Coach Todd Haley two weeks ago. Therefore, their game vs. the Packers last week was their Super Bowl, and they shocked the world with a 19-14 upset win. We can’t imagine that same intensity this week.

The Raiders have a more realistic chance of winning the AFC West, but that scenario starts with them winning their last two games, so they should be the more determined team come Saturday afternoon. More

Hopes are high for the Pittsburgh Steelers (10-4, 6-8 ATS) and St. Louis Rams (2-12, 2-11-1 ATS) in Week 16, as they get set to face off at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh, PA. Perhaps many people including ourselves were too quick to write off the Eagles (6-8, 6-8 ATS), as they have indeed looked like the “Dream Team” on the NFL odds since Michael Vick returned to the lineup two weeks ago. Look for the Philadelphia resurgence to continue vs. the Cowboys (8-6, 5-8-1 ATS) at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, TX on Saturday, December 24th at 4:15 ET on FOX.

Believe it or not, the 6-8 Eagles can still win the NFC East if a combination of three things happens on the NFL odds, and none of those three things are unrealistic. First, obviously the Eagles need to win their last two games. Secondly, the New York Giants need to lose to the New York Jets this week, and the Jets are indeed favored. Then thirdly, the Giants need to win at home vs. Dallas in Week 17 next week. More
