Capital One Bowl Picks - Nebraska vs. South Carolina
Need some BCS Championship Game Betting Tips to cash in big this holiday season? Well you've come to the right place, as we get set to preview each college bowl and picks on this year's Cotton Bowl.In what might be the quickest bowl game of the year with very little passing, look for Nebraska (9-3, 4-7-1 ATS) to rush its way past South Carolina (10-2, 6-6 ATS) in CFB betting in the Capital One Bowl from the Citrus Bowl in Orlando, FL on Monday, January 2nd at 1:00 ET in a game televised on ESPN, ESPN 3D, and ESPN3.com.
South Carolina would break a school record for football wins in a season if it can notch its 11th win here on the CFB betting lines, but this is a team that has lost three straight bowl games and none of those teams it lost to (Iowa in 2008, Connecticut in 2009 and Florida State last year) were probably as good as this Nebraska opponent this season.
Nebraska is looking to erase the memory of losing to Washington 19-7 as a 13½-point favorite in the Holiday Bowl last season, but that was a mostly disinterested team that had just lost a thriller to Oklahoma in the Big 12 Championship Game, while this is a chance to make a mark in the Cornhuskers’ first year in the Big Ten in a much better bowl game vs. an SEC opponent.
